Hello, folks

This marks the first week since the beta PDF went out.

I haven’t received reports of typos or major issues so far, but I have received some very kind words about the content, which made me really happy to read. Thank you for that!

The book is still with the proofreader, and I’m still traveling, so there are no updates to the file this week, as we anticipated.

On the distribution side, we did run into a few hiccups here and there. Roughly 15 out of 1,000+ backers had trouble accessing the PDF, which is about 1.5%. I’ll take that as a win overall (but of course, if you were one of the affected ones, it probably didn’t feel that way.)

I’ve been doing my best to respond quickly and send direct access links whenever needed, and from the replies I’ve received, it seems like everything has been resolved so far.

If you’re still unable to access the PDF, just reach out—reply to this update, leave a comment, or email me—and I’ll make sure you get a direct download link as soon as I can.

I also double-checked everything on my end. All backer emails have been properly imported into itch.io, including those who had trouble accessing the file. Which leads me to believe this is one of those “wild magic” hiccups that’s a bit outside my control, but we’ll work around it together.

In the meantime, I hope you’re enjoying the new tables and content.

As soon as I’m back at my desk, I expect to have the proofread version ready. From there, I’ll apply final adjustments, including bookmarks and hyperlinks.
