There are several known Aons. 63 to be exact, according to the coppermind. Several of them are quite fascinating. Also, there are several with no known purpose in the coppermind. The one which intrigues me the most is Aon Kii. You write it out with a person in mind, or with a modifier or maybe on the person, I have no idea, but it will cause pain to those who are guilty. Could you imagine using this today on our politicians to determine who is lying and who is straight with us. Also, Aon Ien can be used for healing. As a person with a touch of the big C I would couldn't imagine the impact this Aon alone would impact society. I have so many questions. Who created Elantris? Who discovered the Aons? How were they discovered? Do you have to be an Elantrian to use Aons? Was Elantris itself a weapon used to hurt the big fella? Is the total shape of Elantris an Aon with immense power? Many other of the magics systems I feel like you could stumble across, but Aons is a total mystery to me.
