Project Update: 📋 The BackerKit Survey Is Now Live!
Hello, Kind Brains of the Hive,
First of all, thank you once again for your incredible support of Spawns of the Mindrender.
The time has finally come — our BackerKit Pledge Manager is now open!
If you backed Spawns of the Mindrender, you should soon receive (or may have already received) an email from BackerKit inviting you to complete your survey. This is an important step that helps us prepare production and fulfillment, so please take a few minutes to review your pledge and complete the survey.
The survey will allow you to:
- Upgrade to a different pledge level
- Claim your exclusive Discord role
- Select your preferred VTT platform where applicable
- Choose single-wave or two-wave shipping for legacy rewards
- Choose add-ons you may have missed during the campaign
- Pay for any outstanding balance on your pledge
Want to Change Your Pledge Level?
If you'd like to upgrade or change your pledge level, you can easily do so at the start of your survey.
On the first page of the survey, check under the Get Started! button and click the "or Switch your Pledge Level »" link. From there, you'll be able to select a different pledge level and continue through the survey with your updated rewards. Once you're happy with your selection, simply complete the rest of the survey as usual.

Legacy Rewards Shipping Options
If your pledge includes physical rewards from our previous campaigns, you'll be able to choose how you'd like to receive them.
Eligible legacy rewards include books, cards, DM screens, and dice sets for:

- Crown of the Oathbreaker
- Torrents of the Spellhoarder
- Scepter of the Lightbringer
- Deck of the Hive Mind
- Spell Wars Card Game Bundle
(All Deluxe Box pledges include the Deck of the Hive Mind and Spell Wars Card Game Bundle).
Two-wave Shipping
Receive your eligible legacy rewards after the August 31 cut-off date, while your Spawns of the Mindrender rewards will follow in a separate shipment during fulfillment in 2027.
Single-wave Shipping
Receive everything together in one shipment when Spawns of the Mindrender fulfills in 2027.
Please note that two-wave shipping requires an additional shipping charge, as it involves sending two separate packages.
Shipping Addresses
You'll notice that BackerKit asks for your shipping address during the survey. We're collecting these addresses for administrative and production planning purposes, but this will not be your final shipping confirmation.
When your rewards are ready to ship, you'll receive an invitation to complete fulfillment through Elderbrain.com, where you will:

- confirm or update your final shipping address,
- choose your shipping method (where applicable),
- and pay any shipping and handling fees (as well as taxes on shipping fees where applicable).
This ensures everyone has the opportunity to provide their most up-to-date address before packages begin their journey.
In case you missed the campaign, you can still pre-order most Spawns rewards on our pre-order page. Please note that these physical rewards are exclusively available for pre-order and won't be available on our shop in the future!
