As you search the room, you notice a loose brick in the wall. Prying the brick out, a scroll has been stuffed behind it. You open the scroll and see that it is a scroll of Protection from Demons (Vraxagons)!
As you continue to search the room, you look up and notice that at the top of the stairs, Marax is staring down at you. You make eye contact as Marax runs down the stairs towards you.
Roll for initiative and declare whether you Fight or Flee!
