First off, thank you so much for such a wonderful campaign. Your support has been huge. And likewise, to everyone who participated in the play-by-poll, that was some of the most fun I have had running a campaign. As you read the play-by-poll update today, know that I didn't fudge the dice rolls. Things just came to a natural close. Serendipitous ... but maybe in a bad way?
So all that is to say, thank you!!!! We are so excited to wrap this up and get things moving into the next phase. I'll keep you all posted. I definitely recommend joining our Discord server if you want more frequent updates or to be able to ask questions. We will keep updates on Backerkit on a monthly basis.

Voth rolls a 6 for initiative and Marax a 1, if this had been the first round of combat, that would have been a surprise.
You spread your arms in an arc as you speak the enchanted words, a low hum becomes audible as the invisible force field surrounds you. You gain +4 to your damage resistance. You lash out with your Serpent's Blade striking Marax. You roll a 4, max damage, so roll again with a result of 3, +2 for a total of 9 damage! Marax is down to 9 HP!
Just before Marax swings his flaming sword at you, the 5 cosmic faces attack again. You roll a 3 on your save versus spells, which is unfortunately a failure. Each of the 5 faces does d4 damage for a total of 14 damage. However, thanks to your magic shield, that damage is reduced by 4 to a total of 10 damage. This brings you down to 2 HP.
As you reel from the inner pain of the faces of chaos, Marax brings his flaming sword down upon your head. His attack deals 7 damage. Your magic shield reduces that to 3 damage. Leaving Voth at -1. You have died.
As you collapse to the floor, head split, your spirit rises up from your corpse. You look over your shoulder and see yourself lying on the ground. Marax looks down at your body with a grin. Then, you see smoke rising from the tiles on the floor. The smoke takes the form of a Vraxagon.
The Vraxagon laughs and holds out his hand. "Welcome, Voth! I've come to collect our favor. If you thought this was hell, just wait until you see what we have in store for you!"
Game Over.
