It’s a timeless dilemma: whether it’s picking your starter Pokémon or figuring out which style of pin fits your collectors’ lifestyle, choices are the name of the game. For newer collectors, it can be harder to determine the difference between different styles of pins — and for newcomers to disability pride, not all the flags will be within immediate home territory. Don’t worry; I’ve got your back!
Soft Enamel is the form which bevels inward; it has much more room for grooves in it and makes for a more stim-friendly pin. It’s also cheaper to make, and therefore will unlock sooner.
Hard Enamel is more preferred by collectors as it makes for a cleaner image with less dips in the process. It has a higher cost due to demand and the among of molding required to get it cast. Therefore these will be a set of stretch goals, with more added if we somehow manage to succeed this amount!
Metal Pin Rewards: In order to begin testing how pins of these guys might look, I bought a set of shiny metal pins with the mascots printed on solid to start. Do note that these sets are tiny; the stopper on the back is to scale!
Folks also mentioned that they were struggling to differentiate which mascot belonged as a representative of each disability, so those have been attached in the poll below for reference. Remember that each mascot will unlock in relation to the funds raised, but if you’re itching for a specific little guy, we also have all the mascots in stock in other merchandise over on https://acggoods.com/store/furodiversity .
