Welcome back to school, or happy end to the summer heat, or wherever and however this update finds you! We've got a few quick things for you as we advance to the next phases and wanted to loop you in.
Development: Our 3D modeling phase is currently undergoing the very final revisions and most of the coins are ready to begin molding - we're set to start next week! We'll be getting our production samples a few weeks after that of the finalized molded designs, which will probably make for one more round of corrections on some of the coins that turn out differently than expected in the mold phase. We anticipate having photos to share at the end of September of all the finished coins.
Once we have the finished coins, we'll also be doing the photographing of the actual coins to produce the mini card deck from the real coins, and starting to work on the personalized coins for all of the backers.
Wooden Box: The box design is now complete and ready to undergo its sample phase, with the finalized design being carved, etched, and finished with an inlaid medallion. It's going to be a beautiful way to hold and store your coins, with room for the guidebook and the drawing bag inside, as well as the additional connectors.

The cylinder case is still being worked on and will be ready to show off in the next update - it's a difficult beast to capture the visual language and magnificence we're aiming for with it, but rest assured that it's going to be epic.
Survey Followups: Most (though not all) of you have filled out surveys. We just want to remind you to keep your address current in case you are or are planning to move. We'll send out some very loud reminders as we get to the last days before fulfillment, but it's best to keep on top of it.
While the Complete Set people won't need to add anything to their bundles, some of those extras might be pretty tempting for you others. If you're on the fence about any of the accessories, we will be unlocking all orders again in the last month before fulfillment to make sure you can add any final add-ons you might wish to include, once the designs and final forms are all locked in and we've got current photographs. Pricing will go up once we hit the retail phase of the project, so we definitely encourage upgrading to the Complete Set because of all the extra goodies that naturally accompany the package.
We've brought the bag of sample coins with us to some of our local conventions to show off and they've had very positive reception. We're thrilled to see how people are loving seeing and handling them in person.
