Etholmm would be a lovely place for a quiet visit, if the rats and the furniture would cooperate. Our Greenwood bundle pairs A Trouble with Rats with A Malady of Mimics, two tales that lure your heroes from an apparently simple task into something much more devious.

Who is this pledge for?

For GMs who want two village mysteries on screen, from a suspicious cellar job to a thoroughly unsettling return visit. A Trouble with Rats is our existing 5e-only edition.

Etholmm has another problem

Begin beneath the Gray Hawk Inn with Rats, then return for Mimics. You can also run Mimics as a standalone story.

  • 1 × A Malady of Mimics (Multi-system; Digital): Ed Greenwood has given Etholmm a most unfortunate infestation of emimickers, ravenous shapechangers hiding as everyday objects. Follow the clues and question what seems harmless. Run this mystery as a sequel to A Trouble with Rats or as a standalone adventure.
  • 1 × A Trouble with Rats (5e only; Digital): The vermin beneath the Gray Hawk Inn behave with unsettling purpose. Follow their trail through hidden passages and strange magic as a humble errand opens onto a much larger threat. Bring your curiosity as well as your weapons.
