Since GenCon 2019, and playtesting Jagged Earth, I've talked about how great it would be to have a neoprene version of the standard Spirit Island and Branch and Claw component boards; I've mentioned this to employees of GTG, some of which got excited about the notion. Instead, we got the Deluxe Invader Board, which I find to be completely useless. It's massive, unwieldy and yet it still doesn't have spots for Scenarios and Adversaries. Why? GTG, is there any chance you'd be willing to combine both the standard Spirit Island board with the Branch and Claw board into one neoprene playmat? The only augmentation that I would request from that is to put an image of each special token that came with Branch and Claw next to the text for Invader actions. For example: Ravage would have a small Strife token image next to it, Build would have a Disease token image, and Explore would have the Wild token image. Why? To provide an exceptionally quick reference to what those little tokens do to prevent the referenced action! It would be a nice, little flourish that could assist new players as well. Well? What do you think? I'd love to see this fully realized.
