Project Update: We didn't make it. What's next?
Good news: we hit over half of our goal!
I'm bummed out but I want to make Happycwab.
I think with the amount we raised on the current project, we can definitely do that if I lower the goal. Perhaps with Crabapple as an add-on instead of a part of the main project.
When I relaunch, do I have your support? I believe that if we reach the same amount of funding in the first 48 hours, the project will pick up a lot of momentum and we can hit some of the cute stretch goal art rewards from the guest artists. :)
I'd love to hear your thoughts! I'll do my best to answer everyone asap while I figure out a relaunch strategy.

Hi, I decided I wanted a couple more plushies to give as gifts (they’re so cute!) but when I tried to add more in the pledge manager it didn’t show any extra plushies as a possibility? I have the all-in tier, and extra plushies don’t seem available? Thanks for the help!

Project Update: 49% funded, let's keep the good times rolling. Introducing: SOCIAL GOALS!
Sorry for the lack of updates! I was recovering from a minor head & neck injury.
I had a wonderful show at Dokomi in Dusseldorf, but on the plane ride home I got bonked in the head with someone's bag. It sent me into shock for most of the 2-hour trip home. I was rather out of it for the entirety of last week, AND I had to travel to the US just a few days later. It was a challenge but my lovely husband and friends here in California have been taking very good care of me, and I'm all better now.

San Diego Comic-Con 2023 - Come visit me! :)
Anyway, I'm in California! I am spending time with aforementioned friends and gearing up for my annual appearance at San Diego Comic-Con. If you're going to the show, I will be at booth 1703 all next weekend + preview night.
I'll also be handing out flyers to advertise the project, and you can meet Crabapple and Happycwab at my booth~
Introducing: Social Goals!
Every five goals reached unlocks a reward for this campaign. Some of them are pie in the sky goals (like thousand+ followers on social media), but others are things we are doing naturally (like leaving comments on the project page & sharing the project on facebook, etc). I think we can hit some of these before the campaign ends.
- 5 achievements unlocked: A timed-exclusive San Diego Comic-Con vlog
- 10 achievements unlocked: 3" vinyl Happycwab Sticker for ALL backers
- 15 achievements unlocked: 3" vinyl Classic Crabapple Sticker for ALL backers
For instance, every comment left by a backer counts toward the 50 comment achievement, and we've already unlocked the 50 backer achievement.

Project Update: Early Bird Gift pin prototypes are here
Pin prototypes are here and they are very cute! I think I will add more depth to Happycwab's colors for the final run, she seems a little washed out compared to Crabapple.
