Hello Backers, 

I am happy to be back with more updates! 

The samples have been printed… and printed… and reprinted. When I tell you the back and forth on this process has taught me so much! 

First it was the digital file issues. 

Then it was the print clarity. But we fixed it! 

So what was the last issue? This dang edge. If you could see, nothing was showing up! 

But we figured it out, and now we have had multiple successful prints.

The covers are also printed and look wonderful.

The last step is the slip case. Once that is printed, I’ve asked the printer to ship me the samples so I can look at them in person before they print them all. This will take a little longer, but after all the chaos, I refuse to have them print thousands of books and have them be wrong. 

As soon as I have them (I’m told estimated 8 days) I will review and give the thumbs up. 

Then printing begins! 

 

Also update on the bookmark designs. You all requested a new design, and my designer did her thing! Here they are. They have been ordered and will be in my hands next week! 

 

As someone new to Backer kit, I was CONFUSED on how to get the surveys approved. Thanks to the wonderful Backerkit team, I've figured it out. We've sent out the first few as a test with a plan to send the remaining tomorrow. Once those are complete, I can send out the digital reward files to everyone who gets them. 

The Shorts and the Complete digital bundle are ready to go. 

My editor had some personal delays on Lena's book but I am supposed to get that back from her in a couple of days for my final review and then I will get that out to you all asap. 

Overall, we have movement and I am so happy for that because I absolutely HATE delays.
