Project Update: Day One: FUNDED, Stretch Goals Imminent!

Hey y'all! Josh here. It's been just over 24 hours since we launched, and I wanted to publish a brief update to let you all know what has been going on in our Grim Little Corner.

  1. We funded in less than 9 hours! We set our budget high to be safe, but that didn't deter you at all, and you crushed the funding goal before I could even sit down to eat supper. Grim Merchants is officially on the way to your gaming table!
  2. We have tons of stretch goals to look forward to. It's quite a gauntlet of high numbers, but we did that intentionally to really see what y'all can do here. My last couple crowdfunds, backers have knocked the stretch goals out within the first week or two. This time, I expect there will be goals still left standing when we enter the final 48 hours, and I think that makes for a more exciting finale! We have a ton of fun goodies lined up - extra pamphlets, art expansions, and entirely new vendors to augment the book's pagecount.

Our next two stretch goals are at set of immersive digital handouts unlocked at $12K, and a new pamphlet supplement - Androids Unleashed - at $16K! Both are going to be super fun to put together and to use, but I'm really really pumped about Androids. It's a whole little rules-lite toolkit for augmenting Android PCs. It features a reprint/revision of the android panic table I wrote for A Mansion Most Vile, alongside a new wounds table, android subtype rules, and some roleplay primers/guidelines for players and Wardens alike. I'd love to see us crush that $16K mark before Day Two is out!
