Good afternoon, gang! Hope your weekend has been treating you well.
As you may have noticed, all C3 orders have been locked. You will no longer be allowed to add things to your pledge, change your designs, or move any other stuff around.
If you haven't got your survey sorted out yet, you have until May 12th, when we'll be cancelling and forfeiting anything unpaid and unfilled.
Having payment issues? Let me know! I'm happy to unlock surveys for backers who had payment problems.
Other than that, we're in the most fun part of the campaign: waiting for things to happen.
Our locking pin backs are the first thing that's hit the HUSTLE. This means, instead of stickers, this is going to be the first item that gets assigned to packing slips.
Did you guys know you can just, like, order 3500 locking pin backs DDP and trade them at retail value to your pin people? Yeah. I didn't either. Apparently all of our insufferable quirky novelty shops charge like two bucks a pop for them. Fuckin' scammers.
Do a public service to your local homosexuals, buy some bulk, and trade 'em for 50 cents each for entire Costco pizzas and a tank of gas. Community outreach, or whatever.
I'll be starting to print and sort packing slips some time in the next two weeks: we'll separate domestic, domestic combined, EU + EU combined, plus some others that just had to go and be special. After that, we are waiting on stickers to arrive.
I want to reiterate: we are NOT charging for addons or shipping just yet. I am sitting, hand over my mouth, highball of Woodinville in my hand, watching the situation with the USPS go down. To avoid grossly over or undercharging customers, I will be waiting until all stock (stickers AND pins) are here and make the call then.
It's a good idea to double check and make sure your card on file is up to date, but, it won't be in danger for a bit.
The preorder store will remain open for the next month. We're in tax refund season, so, if you missed your chance to pledge and got a hefty refund coughed back at you, it's a good time to get pins. I'll be closing it down for real in mid May.
In the meantime, I've honestly been getting a decent amount of stuff done behind the scenes. A risky lifestyle change is paying off for me better than I expected.
I am chipping away at backed custom work from CC, and, after this nasty head cold clears, hopefully getting things done on C3's customs. I have lost a lot of momentum doing custom work. I love working with you guys, but, going forward, I'm not sure if it's up to my standard.
Either way, I got all but the last slot for CUSTOM CRIMES either sketched or sent off this week. Baby steps.
