Welcome

Come with me, on a walk to explore The Forest Floor, a place full of life and magic! I'm creating a new set of eco-friendly wooden pins inspired by my walks in the woods. I love connecting with nature and sharing my love of the natural world with others through my art and designs. We are all related!

The Pins

Each pin is 1/8" solid cherry wood, with metal butterfly clasps

The manufacturer of my pins is a small business located in Charlotte, North Carolina. I've been working with Jake at The Wooden Pin for several years now. Each pin is made with wood from sustainable forests and uses non-toxic glues and materials. A percentage of every pin purchase goes to One Tree Planted, who have planted over 27,000 trees since 2019!!

Ecofriendly ~ Made in the USA ~ Supports Reforestation

To keep my project even more eco-friendly, I will not be printing backing cards. They look pretty, but are unnecessary waste! Pins will be wrapped in tissue paper and boxed for protection.

Add-on's

Tiger Moth, Frond and Amanita Wooden Pins

Also available, are three of my previous nature pins. The Tiger Moth, Frond and Amanita wooden pins. They go so well with this theme! Quantities are limited so don't wait till the campaign is over if you want one!

Funding Goals

Wooden pins are far more affordable to produce. My funding goal is only $500 for the Sassafras Leaf, Toad and Raccoon Track. This goal covers the cost of production, the material to needed to ship, site fees and a small fee for all my hard work. If the campaign reaches $600 I'll add the Morel and at $700 I'll add the Beetle.

Shipping will be collected AFTER the campaign ends. This is what I expect shipping fees to look like but it can change: $5.50 for the US, $17.50 for Canada, and $25+ for the rest of the world.

Timeline

All of the pin designs are finished and the files needed for the printer are ready to go! Here's breakdown of what will happen when the campaign ends:

  1. I will wait for funds to clear my account. This usually takes around 14 days. Once I have the funds, I will place the order with The Wooden Pin.
  2. Production times vary but I expect the pins will be shipped in approximately a week. I'll update this timeframe if more pins are ordered than expected.
  3. Once I receive the pins I will need about a week to package them all up and ship. I'm estimating this will be around June 25th.
