Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredible support you showed during the Whispering Willows campaign!
Starting today, I’ll share regular updates to keep you informed about the project’s development and behind-the-scenes progress!
At the moment, I’m working on the final draft of the game text, which has grown significantly thanks to the amazing support we received during the campaign. The Forest has expanded more than I could have imagined, and I’m doing my best to shape it into its final form.
At the same time, together with Marga Biazzi (BlackBanshee), we will be working on new illustrations to further enrich what will become the definitive version of the book!
Another important step forward: next week, I will resume contact with the shipping partner to discuss fulfillment. As you all know, the current global situation makes things quite complex, and it’s not always easy to predict what lies ahead. But here in the Forest, we do not falter and we will do everything we can to be as prepared as possible!
This will also allow me to begin setting up the Pledge Manager more precisely, so that shipping costs can be accurately calculated based on each destination. I will keep you updated as soon as I receive more detailed information.

Ancora una volta, grazie di cuore per l’incredibile supporto dimostrato durante la campagna di Whispering Willows!
A partire da oggi inizierò a condividere una serie di aggiornamenti per tenervi costantemente informati sullo sviluppo del progetto e su tutto ciò che accade dietro le quinte!
Al momento sto lavorando alla versione definitiva dei testi del gioco, che grazie al grande sostegno ricevuto si è ampliata molto rispetto a quanto previsto. La Foresta è cresciuta oltre le aspettative, e sto cercando di darle la forma migliore possibile.
Allo stesso tempo, insieme a Marga Biazzi (BlackBanshee), lavoreremo a nuove illustrazioni per arricchire ulteriormente quella che sarà la versione definitiva del volume.
Un altro passaggio importante: dalla prossima settimana riprenderò i contatti con lo spedizioniere per iniziare a discutere delle spedizioni. Come sapete, il periodo è complesso a livello globale ed è difficile prevedere cosa ci aspetta all’orizzonte. Ma nella Foresta non demordiamo, e faremo tutto il possibile per arrivare preparati!
Questo mi permetterà anche di iniziare a configurare il Pledge Manager con maggiore precisione, così da raccogliere successivamente le quote di spedizione in base ai diversi Paesi. Vi terrò aggiornati non appena avrò informazioni più dettagliate.

Hello Adventurers,
The campaign for Whispering Willows has officially come to an end.
And I can hardly find the right words!
I truly did not expect this level of support. Seeing so many backers from the previous project return, and welcoming so many new companions into our adventures, has meant more to me than I can properly express.
Together, we have grown this Forest far beyond what I first imagined. For that, you have my deepest gratitude!
As with the previous project, I will keep you constantly updated on the development of Whispering Willows. You will be able to follow every step of the journey, from layout to illustration to final production!
You will also be notified as soon as the Pledge Manager opens and the surveys for shipping information are sent out. It may take a little time before everything is ready, but I will do my best to open it as soon as possible so that everyone has plenty of time to complete their details.
A Small Important Reminder: Please take a moment to check your BackerKit account and make sure your pledge has been successfully processed. If there were any payment issues, you should have received a notification. Resolving it as soon as possible will ensure everything proceeds smoothly before the platform makes another attempt.

the final goal of €11,000 has been unlocked!

And now, a new presence stirs beneath the leaves!
A new Stretch Goal awaits: Claws and Shadows!
If reached, four additional pages will expand the Bestiary, offering tools to craft unique forest foes. Each creature will carry distinct actions and a defined temperament, supported by new tables to guide their instincts and behavior.

Echoes Take Form: A New Stretch Goal Has Been Revealed!
Hello Adventurers,
Whispering Willows continues to grow beyond every expectation!
Thanks to your incredible support, the €7,500 Stretch Goal has been unlocked, and with it, Whispering Willows has fully crossed the threshold from zine to book, expanding its solo and cooperative play and taking shape as a carefully crafted, perfect-bound volume meant to endure many journeys!
Seeing this forest grow so quickly has been remarkable!
And now, the Echoes themselves begin to take form... a new Stretch Goal has been revealed!
Once we reach €9,000, the inventory system will take life!
We will create a printable digital file where every item and spell has its own corresponding card, allowing players to print exactly what they need, whenever they need it. Each item will also unleash its full potential through special Charged abilities, unlocked by spending Echoes.

To support this system, the character sheet will gain a new equipment slot area, designed to manage cards visually during play.

The Forest Grows Stronger: Elemental Companions Awakened and a new Stretch Goal revealed!
Hello, Adventurers,
The Whispering Forest has reached another turning point!
Thanks to your support, the €6,000 Stretch Goal is unlocked, and Elemental Companions have awakened.
From now on, Guardians will be able to walk the forest paths guided by ancient elemental spirits, choosing one to serve as a guide for their group, granting unique bonuses and abilities!
And this is only part of what you have already brought to life.
So far, thanks to the unlocked Stretch Goals, Whispering Willows has grown well beyond its original roots:
- a limited illustrated bookmark by BlackBanshee
- a book enriched with even more illustrations
- additional pages filled with new classes, equipment, prompts, tables, and tools to expand both the Guardians and the Village they protect,
- a beautifully illustrated, fine-printed map of the Whispering Forest
- and now, the Elemental Companions, breathing new life into the bond between the Guardians and the forest itself.
What began as a small zine is steadily becoming something richer, deeper, and more alive!
A new Stretch Goal now awaits us!
At €7,500, Whispering Willows will grow even further:
- Four additional pages will expand and enrich the existing solo and cooperative play, providing deeper prompts and guidance for lone Guardians and small groups alike.
- As the project reaches 76 pages, it will fully evolve from a zine into a little book, transitioning to a perfect-bound format.

I have "The Inn at the Edge of the World" physical edition as an add-on, but in the pledge manager, it shows that it includes Whispering Willows PDF and Whispering Willows physical edition. I assume this is an error, but I want to make 100% sure, because I actually do want "The Inn at the Edge of the World" and not two copies of Whispering Willows :)
