I see what you're saying, and why its white. But with the actual moth the wings are like 90% of what you see and its on the back of the plush. With the body proportions changed in plush form the body being a bigger presence than the wings. The white doesnt read as luna all the much to me. There's several white moths, but green isn't that common. I don't think most people would second guess its a luna moth if the colors reversed and it would read better I think.
