CREATOR
Hello backers! We'd like to get real with you, just for a moment (then we can all go back to playing make-believe with our friends)!
Your voice holds more weight than ours. Gamers’ opinions and experiences make or break RPGs—and that's how it should be. More than ever, this campaign relies on you sharing yours.
There are some places that "corporate" voices don’t belong—places that are by fans for fans, and have a sanctity that we don’t want to intrude upon. These are places where communities form and are the true lifeblood of gaming as a hobby. So many new people discover new RPGs in those spaces, not from campaigns or ads.
If you didn’t play Cypher already, what about this campaign would be meaningful to you? What is valuable to you in a recommendation?
We want to build the community of Cypher lovers and players, but we’re having trouble reaching people outside our existing community. Where do you go to talk to people who are in the broader TTRPG community? Who do you take recommendations from, and why?
It's always been important to us to make games that people love so much, they want to talk about them. But with the shifting online energies and platforms of the last few years, it's hard to keep up with how people are engaging with new games, new ideas, and new systems. Please use this forum to advise us and to collaborate on ways to share the word about this campaign. We're all ears!
