The expansion to Numenera is unlocked, and the book is getting bigger and better with more creatures, locations, and numenera items, all of which will be brand new! Stretch Goal: Let’s Add Another Book!
The Amber Archive isn’t a single place in a single location, but rather a vast, connected network of knowledge and technology centers spread throughout the Ninth World, accessible only to those who learn how to gain access to its secrets. Over the aeons, the connections between the locations have become worn and broken, much like the archives themselves, and getting from one to the other is difficult and dangerous…
Introducing Tales from the Amber Archive, a collection of standalone adventures that send the characters to the far reaches of the Amber Archive.
In each of these adventures, characters are invited to explore one of the archive locations, perhaps to steal something priceless, to conduct repairs, to rescue someone who went in before them, or to clear the way of dangers in advance of the arrival of others. The adventures will be in our innovative “instant adventure” format, which requires very little GM prep and lets you jump into play quickly.
You can integrate the adventures into your own campaign, run them as one-shots, or even make Tales from the Amber Archivesinto a longer campaign, as characters who visit all the locations have the opportunity to repair the network and bring the archive back to its full glory once again!
This is an entirely new book. It will be available as an add-on, and added automatically, in print and PDF, to the rewards of backers at the ALL-IN (print and PDF) pledge level, and in PDF only for the ALL-IN (PDF only) pledge level. We’ll unlock this brand new instant-adventure book when we reach 1800 backers.
