The blighted brigantine of the Shoreculler Brigands, the Dead Man's Wake has stood the test of time despite its rotting boards, befouled cargo and a less than careful crew.
Map development is well underway for Scuttle, and you can see above a few glimpses of strange and mysterious fragments of the accursed vessel. Whether it be leaking fluids dripping from heaped misshapen crates, odd things writhing in the briny beneath or mysterious blinking eyes gazing up at the stars from beneath the deck the Wake is absolutely full of odd and eldritch details.
Spanning over a hundred feet in length this war vessel offers a brutal final combat, rocked by violent waves and the howling of an eldritch storm.
Do You Fear The Depths?
Even the bravest amongst the Shoreculler Brigands know that despite their parentage, the seas can be fierce and unforgiving. Strange gods lurk below, old as time itself, and they would as easily bestow a curse as a boon. Worship of a couple of these gods, the violent Father Dagon and enormous Mother Hydra, has spread into shoreline communities and arcane dwellings.
With this worship has come the arrival of new spells, manifested from the depths and gifted to those either faithful or well studied in the abyss: New spells can be found in one of the appendices of Scuttle! adding a range of depth-themed spells to your repertoire! Pathfinder 2E fans may also be curious about the religious nature of the creatures that lurk below. Included in the PF2E 'Sea Worship' appendix is a guide to the vast deity-like monstrosities that have guided the Shorecullers for so long!
