Project Update: Campaign done! What comes next?



It is hard to believe that after 6+ months of prep and 1 month of the campaign that this stage of the journey is over. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who pledged! Together we achieved so much at this grand opening of the Collectors Guild Cafe!

  • We fully funded!
  • Calendar quality upgrade
  • Coloring book quality upgrade
  • Free set of 6 adorable stickers to all physical pledges
  • Upgraded those stickers from 2" to 3"
  • Upgraded all bookmarks to thicker paper and full edge-to-edge art
  • Added another set of bookmarks
  • Free 8x10 Holiday Goblins print to all physical pledges
  • As of right now, we're donating 57 coloring books and supplies to the local hospital!
  • You participated in a Crowd's Choice quiz that averaged 60 votes per poll
  • We hosted a coloring contest and 2 winners were chosen to receive a CGC reward

What's next?
Over the next couple weeks you'll be charged for your initial pledge. If your card fails for whatever reason, you'll have the opportunity to update your payment method. Please do this as soon as possible! Please refer to the Project FAQ section of you have a question, then reach out to us in the Discussion board if you need any further help.

And then?
Surveys via BackerKit will go out by September 14, sooner if we can manage it. If you pledged for a notebook, you'll select the character you want on the cover or the CGC logo. Nothing else is customizable. You'll also be able to add on anything else you want from the add-ons list! You MAY need to reselect any add-ons you chose during the campaign, but you won't have to pay more unless you select more. You will be charged for add-ons at the end of the survey, but your shipping won't be charged yet.

Then you'll provide your mailing address. Sometimes BackerKit surveys have an issue where you get a really high shipping estimate until the very last page. Please be sure to get to the final page just before confirming your order to get the best shipping quote. Shipping is not charged yet.

Backers will have until September 30th to finish their surveys. This is when we lock all completed surveys so that item quantities cannot be changed. You'll still be able to fill out your survey after this point, but that could delay fulfillment of your pledge because your items may not be part of the initial orders we place with our fulfillment partners.

We are hoping to receive all items by the end of November. Shipping charges will be placed toward the end of November. We plan to begin shipping at the beginning of December.

What else?
If you have not filled your survey and paid by January 31, 2024, your pledge will be forfeit and considered a kind donation.
