More Good News! We received samples from our printer and have officially placed our order. We currently expect to receive our order on November 9th and barring any unforseen interuptions we expect to be able to begin shipping that week.
One note; we'll be shipping in batches (so that if anything goes wrong we don't ruin all of the prints) so many people will not receive their physical copies right away. We also won't be providing tracking. As much as I'd like to, since we're offering free shipping we can't afford to pay for tracking. Unfortunately Backerkit does not have tools to let me test what a backer sees and I'd like to avoid spamming further misinformation to the group so I'm asking for a volunteer to verify if a redemption method works.
I genuinely apologize for asking the community for help; I don't have a better option I can verify myself at this point.
If you haven't received a code yet and you're willing to lend me 5 minutes to verify if a code distribution works please email [email protected] and I will reach out to you sometime today. We won't need to do a call or anything; I'm just looking for an email confirmation if something works when you get a chance.

Here is what I believe is happening: Backerkit says the emails have been sent, but they've actually only been generated. In order for a project to go live Backerkit requires a survey to be sent, which does things like give users a chance to update their address, etc. I've set up the survey, but it needs to be approved by Backerkit's team.
They say that approval takes 2 business days. Once I receive that approval I will send out the survey and I expect the digital codes will be sent immediately afterwards.
To anyone who feels this is too much information, I apologize. I prefer to over-communicate to make sure that people know I'm doing something to get them their purchase, but I also appreciate that for some people they'd rather just wait to hear when it's done.
To anyone who's volunteered, I may reach out again after the survey's gone out.
Thank you for bearing with us while we worked out the kinks in our distribution method. We believe all of the codes have now been sent via Backerkit's email system. If you search your email for a message from Backerkit you should see that a code has been sent to you.
Unfortunately, Backerkit does not enable me to send myself a test email, so I apologize in advance if this method also encountered an issue (but I believe this should work.)

Some of you have informed us that you did not receive your codes for itch.io. We've investigated what may have caused this, and have discovered an issue. Apparently because we sent about 300 emails in under an hour Google flagged our email account as spam.
Starting off Please let me start by apologizing to everyone who hasn't received their code yet, and assuring them that I guarantee I will get it to you as soon as possible. As I mentioned when I started this campaign, this is my first crowdfunding campaign so I hadn't anticipated this roadblock and I'm very sorry for any inconveince it's caused but I promise I will make it right.
What do we recommend? If you haven't seen your download code, we highly recommend checking your spam filters for an email from [email protected]. I believe this should address the issue for many people who couldn't find it previously, but if you don't see it, please don't worry, we are also taking additional steps on our side.
We will resend the codes, using a different method I am currently investigating a means of resending the codes that won't be flagged as spam. There are a few challenges with this, but I promise we'll resend the codes so that everyone receives them.

If you haven't claimed yours then we recommend you search your email inbox for your download code. Redeeming it on itch.io will give you a copy you can download as many times as you like. It will also give you access to any updated versions or supplemental material if we ever decide to update the project.
Today is the day we had intended to send our files to the printer. We have uploaded them and we're ready to place our order, but we're waiting on the print samples to make sure that we're ordering the right paper. We want it to feel premium, but not feel as thick as a business card, so there's a "goldilocks" paper weight that we're aiming for. We expect to be placing the order within the next week. We're slightly behind our schedule, but currently still expect to begin deliveries on our original target date next month.

It has been a little over 2 weeks since our last update so we wanted to provide everyone with the latest info about the status of our project.
Itch Codes As we've mentioned in our previous updates, the PDF is finished and is ready to be distributed. Itch.io has a policy that imported distribution lists need to be approved by a staff member before an email with codes can be mass-distributed in order to avoid people abusing it as a method to send unsolicited spam. As soon as our email is approved we will be sending out codes to everyone. Approval from itch has been taking longer than we'd like, but we still have about a week remaining before our original planned distribution date and we intend to deliver on time.
DrivethruRPG In our last update we mentioned that we may consider distributing codes via DrivethruRPG in addition to using Itch and asked interested people to take a 1 question survey. Approximately 3% of backers responded that they would prefer DrivethuRPG. Given the low level of interest we're not making DrivethruRPG a priority at this time, but we may reconsider in the near future.
