Hey Everyone! Just a mini update here. Because of your many requests for these, we've added them to all orders where the game is present! So, if you have the Standard or Deluxe version of the game, you should have access to the PDFs of the Campaign Sheet and the Rulebook now. If you don't though, send me an email to [email protected] so I can help! Thank you all for this feedback, and we hope this was a good solution to all of you!

2. Pathfinder Core Rulebook Set & Crown of the Kobold King PDFs
These files are being distributed as codes for redemption on the Paizo Webstore. This method ensures that you receive the PaizoConnect benefits for these products, such as discounts on digital partner sites like Fantasy Grounds and Demiplane.
This process is very similar to the above, with added redemption steps.

Navigate to 'My Surveys'
Select Pathfinder Quest
Scroll down to "Get Your Digital Rewards"
Access the code(s) for Pathfinder Core Rulebook Set and Crown of the Kobold King PDFs.
Our partners at Forteller have provided some handy instructions for installing and using the Narrative Companion App!
Step 1 — Get your code from BackerKit
Have a BackerKit account? Log in at backerkit.com, open the "Your Surveys" tab, and click this project to open your Survey Review page. Click "Get Your Digital Rewards" to reveal your Forteller code.
No account, or lost your survey email? Use the Survey Recovery tool at backerkit.com/are_you_a_backer — enter the project name, select it, and enter the email you pledged with. You'll get a link straight to your Survey Review page, where you can click "Get Your Digital Rewards."
Note: Your code appears once your order is locked and charged. It's released through your survey, not the separate "Digital Downloads" tab in My Pledges & Surveys.
Step 2 — Redeem it on the Forteller app
Visit forteller.gg (installs on most devices right through your browser).
Sign in or create a free Forteller account.
Click "Redeem" from the account menu, enter your code, and start your adventure!
Have multiple codes? Each one is redeemed separately.

As some of you have noticed, games began shipping to backers last week—ahead of schedule, and while I (Rue, your friendly local update-maker) was out of town for a trade show. I apologize for not making an update when shipping began, but I'm excited to do so now!

Shipments have started in the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia, and Europe! For our handful of folks outside of these regions, your shipments are also underway—they will ship from our warehouse here in Seattle.
We hope to complete Wave 1 fulfillment by the end of next week (June 12th) for all backers! Once our warehouse and our international shipping partners have completed shipping, we'll be back with another update!
Also—for our backers who purchased PDF add ons during the campaign, such as the Core Rulebook bundle or Crown of the Kobold King, those will be distributed via BackerKit this week! Stay tuned for an update on how to redeem your codes.
We are also doing final checks on the Foreteller Narrative App and will have an update coming this week on how to access the app!

Thank you for your patience as we worked with BackerKit to get the shipping waves corrected and rates adjusted. Everyone should now see shipping charges for Wave 1, unless you have opted to wait until Wave 2 for complete shipping. Also, due to shipping and production needs, there have been some adjustments made to what items will be shipped in each wave. The new distribution is as follows:
Wave 1 -
Pathfinder Quest (Standard or Deluxe)
Acrylic Tokens
Any Pathfinder/Paizo Games products ( Core books, Crown of the Kobold King, Monster Match, etc)
Wave 2 -
Everything else!
We will also be distributing the digital rewards shortly after Wave 1.
We’d like to provide some important notes and context, based on questions and feedback we’ve gotten through this process:
VAT Collection: The VAT charged with this Wave will cover the entirety of your pledge. You will not be charged VAT on the second shipment (aside from VAT on shipping, if that applies in your region). The invoices generated by our fulfillment partners will note this, showing VAT and fees paid for both packages.
Retailer Taxes: We have corrected the retailer tax and VAT discrepancies—please ensure that your Tax ID is up-to-date in BackerKit to avoid incurring fees on delivery. If you are unsure, please email [email protected] with your Tax ID and BackerKit email address.
Wave 2 Timeline: We do not have solid dates for Wave 2 fulfillment, as many of those accessories are still in production. At this stage, we foresee Wave 2 shipping in early fall, but as that timeline solidifies, we will post updates here.
With the shipping corrected and adjusted, we will be moving forward with processing shipping and tax charges so that we can begin fulfillment. For folks with Wave 1 shipments, fulfilment will begin in early June, regardless of region. We can’t wait to put these games in your hands!
Thank you for all of your feedback on our shipping charges—in reviewing them with BackerKit, we came to the realization that the “Two-Wave Shipping” system was not properly implemented before launch. Thus, the charges you have been seeing are for your entire pledge, not just Wave 1 items. Additionally, because some of the Wave 2 items do not have final weights and dimensions, the placeholder numbers have not been updated, thus making the calculations inaccurate.
We are actively working with BackerKit to get the Two-Wave Shipping system online to re-issue shipping estimates for Wave 1 shipments—this process can take up to five business days, as some coding must be done on the backend to correct the issues. New shipping estimates will be sent out via notification email once the corrections have been made.
While this issue is not the sole cause of high shipping costs, we hope the new split-shipment estimates will be closer to expectations—albeit still higher than our original estimates due to global circumstances.
For folks who are still interested in bundling their orders and holding off until Wave 2 for total fulfillment, please email [email protected] and we will adjust your settings to hold off on collecting shipping until Fall.
We appreciate your candor, enthusiasm, and patience as we navigate correcting these issues. Above all, we cannot wait to see Pathfinder Quest in your hands and to hear about your adventures.
We know that some of the shipping costs have come as a surprise and want to thank you all for bringing this to our attention. Some errors have been corrected on the backend—particularly for retailers who are receiving multiple copies of the game and backers receiving only Wave 2 add-ons who were incorrectly invoiced for shipping during Wave 1.
We are actively working with BackerKit to correct these errors and you should see the changes reflected on your surveys.
Unfortunately, much of the shipping, taxes, and VAT prices shown on surveys reflect the current state of shipping and global commerce. The increasing price of oil affects shipping and freight particularly hard, with some carriers increasing costs between 25-40% since our original estimates last fall.

Additionally, Pathfinder Quest is a larger game in its final form than the pre-production mockups used for estimation. The estimated size of Pathfinder Quest was approximately 12”x12”x3” for the Standard Edition and 12”x12”x5” for the Deluxe Edition, with weights around 5 and 8 pounds respectively. The final games come in closer to 8 and 11 pounds respectively, with the Standard Edition coming in a 12”x12”x5” box and the Deluxe Edition coming in a 12”x12”x10” box to accommodate miniatures.

These measurements place Pathfinder Quest in “oversized” package categories for most carriers, and this can be impacted even more by orders including Pathfinder rulebooks, which also add a fair amount of weight.
All VAT and taxes shown on the surveys are based on each state, region, or country’s import fees. For some countries, these taxes can be as high as 25%, while other regions have lower rates.
There is a chance that global shipping rates will improve between now and fall—if you would like to postpone your Wave 1 shipment to combine with Wave 2 in hopes of smoother sailing, please contact us via BackerKit support. However, we cannot guarantee better rates due to constantly shifting global circumstances.
We know these price adjustments are impactful and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We hope that once Pathfinder Quest reaches your doorstep, you'll see just how phenomenal (and huge) this game is when you dive in to play!

After patiently waiting for over a month for my pledge, today I got an update on shipping, saying my package is being returned from dpd back to spiral galaxy, no explanation on the why whatsoever, what am I supposed to do?

I received an email from Spiral Galaxy Games last month about the fulfillment of a Pathfinder Quest order to my address in France.
After patiently waiting for over a month for my pledge, I've checked status of the package with the tracking number on DPD UK tracking site. Package did not move since 18 Jun 2026 11:19 and I'm still waiting for it.
I've check with DPD France, they are not informed about the package. I have a bad feeling about this.
Is there anything I can do to get the package delivered to me?
SPOILERS, I guess.
Hoping someone associated with the project sees this post and comments on it. If nothing else, so if this is errata it can be corrected in a future print. If it is errata, sadly, once again, crowdfunding backers get to be the testers and editors, I guess.
I am putting together a list of all the cards. Why? Because that is how my brain works.
Item #95 is "Dagger" but does not have a subtitle as is the case with other weapons. Others, like the longsword, have "Weapon" as a subtitled. Other types have other tags like "Armor" or "Magic Item" or "Consumable". This item card has no subtitle. I presume it should be tagged as a weapon. I am sure the answer is obvious and what it seems, but wondering if there is something I am missing. Especially in as much as tags are fairly important in Pathfinder 2E.
