Update #12: Assembly Has Officially Begun! 🎉

We’ve got great news to share: all the pieces are officially in one place, and our U.S. manufacturing team is actively assembling Combo Cubes as we speak. Cue the confetti. 🎊

The materials are complete, the workflow is underway, and pillows are moving through the build and packaging process right now. This means we’re no longer waiting on parts — we’re in the making-it-happen phase. 🙌

As soon as we have firm shipping timelines from our manufacturer, we’ll share the next update so you know exactly when to expect your Combo Cube. For now, just know that things are moving steadily and intentionally, and we’re finally seeing real, tangible progress.

Thank you (truly) for sticking with us through the delays and curveballs. Your patience has not gone unnoticed, and we’re incredibly grateful for the trust you’ve shown us. 💙

Update #11: We’re Finally Moving! 🚚💨

We’ve got some exciting progress to share (and a big thank-you for sticking with us through this journey).

The covers we received are now with our U.S. manufacturer, who can finally start building and packaging the first batch of Combo Cubes to get out the door. While we don’t have a confirmed ship date from them yet, things are finally moving in the right direction! 🛠️

We were able to airfreight enough pillow covers to assemble and ship the first batch of pillows. So some of the Combo Cubes are very close to making their way to you! 🎉 The remaining covers are being shipped by sea now that we’ve gotten clarity on the latest tariff situation. They are due to arrive in the next 2 weeks. 🌊

In the meantime, most of the freebies and add-ons have already gone out. 🎁 If you haven’t received your extra items (besides the risers), please reach out to our support team so we can make it right.

We know this has been a longer wait than any of us hoped for, and we can’t thank you enough for your patience, understanding, and incredible support. ❤️ The finish line is finally in sight, and we seriously can’t wait for you to get your Combo Cube! 💙

Update #10: Combo Cube Shipping Timeline 🕒

We want to keep you fully in the loop: we’re still waiting on the pillow covers from our manufacturer and plan to airship these to us once they are available. Because of that, we now anticipate shipping the Combo Cube in about 4–6 weeks. We know this has been a longer journey than expected, and we’re so sorry for the additional delay.

Here’s the silver lining: we don’t want you to have to wait on everything. Our team is working on split-shipping orders so you can enjoy your freebies and add-ons sooner, while the rest of your order finishes making its way to us. We’ll keep you posted as soon as that’s ready to roll.

UPDATE #9: Lock and load!

The countdown is on—orders are locking!
This is your last call to add any extra goodies before we seal the deal. If you've been eyeing something, now’s the time to make your move.

Good news: we’ve started to add free items and shipping credits to qualifying orders. 🎉 You're all set there.

As for the covers—we’re still waiting on the full shipment, but we have gotten our hands on the cooling pillowcase and… wow. It’s soft, it’s cool, it’s basically the pillowcase equivalent of a deep sigh after a long day. Totally worth the wait.

We’re anticipating just a few more weeks before we can start fulfilling orders. Thank you (seriously, thank you) for sticking with us through the delays. We know it’s been a longer journey than expected, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure the final product is worth it.

UPDATE #8: Let's Clear Things Up

We’ve got answers (and a little cleanup to do).

After our last update, a few new questions started rolling in — so we’re back with some fresh clarifications, a math correction (oops), and all the info you need to keep your Combo Cube journey smooth and cube-tastic.

🧮 Correction Time: Update #7 Needed a Calculator

Apparently, our math had a little “creative” energy last time. So here's the real deal:

Your pledge gets you a 4-inch or 5-inch Combo Cube (not both — unless you backed at multiple levels, you cube-hungry wizard).

To make this crystal clear, we’ve added a new question to your BackerKit survey asking which size you want. This question appears twice on the survey for those who purchased two pillows. If you didn't buy 2 pillows, select N/A on the second question.

But what if you’ve already filled out your survey or it’s vanished into the email void?

You can absolutely still update it — as long as we haven’t locked your order or started shipping.

Which we have done neither.

So, here’s how to jump back in:

Enter the email address you used for Backerkit
BackerKit will email you a magic link to your survey

💸 Add-Ons & Shipping: What Gives?

Q: I added $50 in add-ons, but I still see a shipping charge?!

Totally valid question — and here’s the scoop:

Filling out the survey does not immediately charge your card.

We’ll manually review and adjust orders before any charges go through.

To qualify for free shipping, you need $50 in add-ons alone.
Shipping itself doesn’t count toward that $50 threshold. (We know, rude.)

Q: I backed early, so... where are my sweet, sweet bonus items?

Great eye! If you backed us early and qualified for free goodies, we will manually add them to your order.

Received my pillow and a riser

For me I tried the extra riser and it didn’t work for me so took it out and didn’t sleep well so I took out one more riser and well I been sleeping well so far. I just wiki could have a extra pillow case so I could put one on while I wash the other.

Pillow is complete garbage

I opened it up, excited to finally have this darn thing. I waited 24 hours for it to hopefully puff up. I specifically got the 5” one because I have broad shoulders. After 4 days, it measures 2.4-2.5” (and about 1” in the middle). When I put my head on it, I compress it completely to the mattress. The cooling pillow case is baggy, like it’s only 1/2 full. I’m currently using my 8$ pillow from Target, because otherwise this thing will kill my back.

Not overly impressed

I’m going to be completely honest and say this doesn’t even come close to the quality and performance of my original pillow cube. I find the pillow case to be loose and as others mentioned could’ve been better quality at the sealing end. This did not improve my sleep, rather actually increased my snoring from the original pillow cube and left me feeling less rested. Unfortunate that I feel like this turned into throwing over $100 into a recycling bin as I will not be using the pillow and wish I had not invested at this point. Total experience was terrible between communication, delays, and satisfaction of the end product. I will not be investing in their products moving forward and will look for an alternative

Got the pillow, it seems nice. I would definitely be careful zipping up the inside cover if you are adding any risers. I haven’t gotten my knee pillow gift for backing early. Anyone know the support email so I can get that too?
