Meet our three new contenders for threats!
Ice Beard
As their name might suggest, these tiny assholes live in cold areas and impale icicles into their faces, creating pointy beards to make themselves look spikier. If they canāt get their clawed little hands on ice, then theyāll use any sharp object they can find to turn themselves into Pinhead.
Theyāre very generous, though, and are more than happy to make sure you get impaled with a glorious beard too.
Chomp Bucket
Just an ugly bucket, rusted with age and innocently sitting on the dungeon floor. Yeah right.
Tiny teeth line the handle and edges of this mimic-like creature. The second it gets fangs in you, it injects venom that dissolves you into goop. Your goop then falls into the conveniently bucket-shaped body so it can savor every last drop of your stupidity.
With every meal it consumes, it grows larger and larger. Fully grown Chomp Buckets develop legs to chase down their prey.
Bloodows
Sometimes killing a mob only makes everything so much worse. These parasites live silently inside a host until their death, and then? Well, this colony of ant-sized blobs lurks in the shadows of nearby living creatures, waiting for the chance to slide inside and wear their skin like a costume. Their goal? Get deeper into the dungeon for reasons that weāre saving for a big surprise.
They donāt hurt much, but they come to control every twitch of your entire body at will. Theyāll replace all of your blood and become the only thing keeping you alive.

Helllooo Crawlers! Just a mini Tuesday update for everyone to announce our next poll and answer some FAQs we've seen floating around.
FAQs For Tuesday June 9th
Q: Where's My Survey? A: As of this past Saturday we sent out all current surveys! š If you haven't gotten yours yet there's a couple of options:
If you're a Pay Over Time backer then you won't get your survey until after your last payment has been made. Backerkit should send it automatically about 48 hours after the last payment processes.
If you aren't a Pay Over Time backer then make sure you've checked your spam/junk folder!
Or you can check in your Backerkit Profile under 'Your Surveys'
If NONE of these work send us an email!
Q: My email hasn't been answered, what's going on? A: We're working on it! We've been getting an average of 50 emails a day and they all take time to answer so I'm not getting through them as quickly as I'd like. That being said nothing about the survey should be time sensitive so just hang tight! If something comes up urgently send a follow-up email with Urgent: CarlRPG in the subject line.
Q. Should I be charged for VAT? A: Yes we are collecting VAT through Backerkit for this campaign, there's been some questions and conflicting information so we're just tossing it out there.
Q: When will I be charged for shipping? A: We're aiming to charge shipping in August or September, as that date approaches we'll make more updates and give more details/estimates/etc.
Q: Will there be any issues if my Renegade Webstore account has a different email from my Backerkit account? A: Nope! We'll be able to match and distribute with no issues so don't worry if they're different emails!
Q: When will I get my digital files? A: We're on track for an August fulfillment, as I get more info I'll pass it on to all of you!
Q: Can I add extra pledges in the pledge manager? A: Yes! There were a couple of days where they weren't visible in the add-ons survey but they should be there now!
Q: Can I remove items I pledged for from my cart? A: I REALLY thought you could so this one's on me, if you want add-ons removed from your cart you do need to email us so we can remove them for you.
Q: What's the email I should reach out to? A: If you're a regular backer then email

Pledge Manager
The Pledge Manager is officially OPEN! Opening. Opening incrementally. Thereās so many crawlers that weāre sending out the surveys in batches but by the end of today everyone should have gotten their survey email.
Iāll also add a step by step tutorial (with screenshots) in the Backer Only section below in case you need help.
If you are a Pay Over Time Backer you will receive your survey automatically after your last payment has been made.

Remember Renegade Con? Back in February? That was cool, right? Guess what we do those a few times a year and our next one is coming up next Friday! Join us on Youtube for a live stream of new reveals and a bunch of fun videos. Iāll be in the chat hanging out so come join the fun!
Our Mixed Picks Poll ended 15ish minutes ago and the winner is, by only 1%, Roadrage the Orcish Warmage!
With that weāve also got a Roadmap for future polls! Our next few will be pre-gen character sheets (because then I donāt have to make companions posts lol) and then once I have the options in hand weāll start mixing it up with more Threats, Sidequests, and anything else we can think of.
For our $9.75 Million poll- itās a Party Picking Poll! Iāve grabbed some of your most favorite crawlers who donāt already have a character sheet in the works and lined them up so YOU can pick who you want in your party for the Dungeon.

Pledge Manager Update
After this weekendās smoke test, BackerKit identified a few technical hiccups (likely something to do with the Dungeon AI). So to give their team and our team some time to work out the bugs, weāll be holding off on opening the Pledge Manager.
Weāll be working on this today so we can get things all fixed up and open the pledge manager ASAP. Once it does open, it will still remain open for a whole 30 day period.
Weāll keep you posted, but we should still see it open this week!

Super quick rundown - Pledge Manager phase is, unsurprisingly, where your pledges are managed. First by you, the backer, and then by us, the creator.
Step 1 is starting today - a smoke test. A small, random portion of crawlers (about 5%) will receive their pledge surveys ahead of everyone else to make sure that our pledge questions cover everything they need to, make sure the backend system of Backerkit is working properly, etc.
Assuming all that goes well, and it usually does, the next step will be opening up the pledge manager to everyone this upcoming Monday, June 1st.
What do you need to do as a backer?
Once you receive your survey please fill it out ASAP! When we open the Pledge Manager weāll make a more detailed update with screenshots to help out anyone who hasnāt used one before but if you donāt need to wait for assistance fill it out on the spot!
Even if you already see all of your information at the beginning of the survey, itās important to go through the entire form to make sure youāve answered and confirmed all the survey questions and received a confirmation email.
This will be your home to snag future releases, keep an eye out for announcements, and eventually find local stores that have CarlRPG and Dungeon Crawler Carl Unstoppable. It's also super pretty just to look at since itās all the art from our books and such. Very cool.
Discord Badges
Celestial Crawlers and Attendees of the Butcherās masquerade your Discord badges are NOT forgotten! The whole team has been in a sprint to get the campaign wrapped up and everything to the printer so we can meet our goal of beginning fulfillment in October.
Once the pledge manager has closed (in case anyone upgrades their pledge) weāll gather all those names and emails and arrange distributing those badges to crawlers in the Discord.
