All Legendary and Celestial Tiers are getting BOTH the Starter Set and Core Rulebook for BOTH Roll20 and Alchemy. These will be added to your pledge automatically, no action necessary.
A new add-on has been made available to all tiers for $50. When you purchase this add-on, you will receive the VTT Bundle in your choice of Roll20, Alchemy, or Fantasy Grounds (Unfortunately, we couldn’t include this one for free in the Legendary and Celestial tiers).
You’ll make your selections later on, after the campaign, during the survey in the Pledge Manager phase. So you have some time to decide which you want.
If you’d like to upgrade your pledge or select new add-ons, you can click “Manage your pledge” at the top of the campaign page, then click “Edit Pledge”, then click “Add Additional Items” or select a new pledge level in the dropdown under “Your Pledge Level.”

What is a VTT?
A VTT (Virtual Tabletop) is software that lets you play TTRPGs online. Maps, tokens, dice rolls, character sheets, and rules all live in one place so your table can play together from anywhere in the world.
How does it work?
The GM sets up a game on the VTT platform and invites the players! The module handles most of the heavy lifting… character sheets come ready to use, monsters include tokens and stats, and the rules compendium is built directly into the platform for quick reference during play.

Does everyone need to buy it?
Nope! Only the GM needs to own the module.
How do I get it if I’m already a Legendary or Celestial backer?
If you backed at the Legendary or Celestial tier, both the Roll20 and Alchemy versions of the VTT bundle are already included at no extra cost. You do not need to do anything. What if I’m a Legendary or Celestial backer and want the Fantasy Grounds VTT module? You will need to add the VTT add-on to your pledge in order to get the Fantasy Grounds VTT module.
When will the VTT development be completed?
We’re currently targeting and optimistic about October, though timelines may shift during development.
What if I’m not in one of those tiers?
The VTT bundle is available as a standalone add-on for $50. You’ll be able to choose Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, or Alchemy during the pledge manager phase.
What if my favorite VTT isn't an option here? We explored a range of VTT options for Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG, but not all platforms were able to align on timing and scope for this campaign. Rather than delay, we focused on partners who could support a complete, high-quality VTT experience by the game's launch.
