SPOILERS AHEAD

Episode Description: Louis meets the vampire Lestat in 1910 New Orleans.

What a deceptively simple description! When I began watching Interview With The Vampire I went in with absolutely no background knowledge. I guessed there would be an interview and that there would be vampires and that was it.

The jump from modern times to 20th Century New Orleans was a surprise but I LOVED it. As someone who's really in to costumes and sets I was dumbstruck by the sets, the outfits, everything that was being said without words.

And Lestat's introduction? WOW! I was so glad when we decided that his calling card would be our VIP bonus because it's a perfect capsule of so many things about the show. Mysterious and elegant, whispering that there's far more to this man than meets the eye.

What are your thoughts? Did you jump into the series right away or did you wait until all of Season 1 dropped so you could binge it in one sitting? Did you have a moment where you knew you were going to be watching this show all the way through?
