Project Update: A sneak peek of some of the kooky, spooky Nevermore Bookshop goodies

Hi Steff. I see you've got the Nevermore Bookshop linocut paperbacks launching soon. They look AMAZING but I already have the full set of hardcovers and I don't need a second set of books. Is there going to be anything for me in this campaign?

Thank you so much, you amazing Spookybat, for following Nevermroe Bookshop on Backerkit. I'm so excited to unleash these special editions and goodies. I thought I'd answer this question today with a few sneak peeks!

If you're new to Steffanie Holmes, then you'll looooove these special editions. They are seriously gorgeous and I can't wait for you to see all the details. Just look at the signing page Holly has designed for me in the linocut style:

But if you've been a fan for a while, you might already own a set of pretty hardcover Nevermore Bookshop books from our previous Vintage-classics-inspired Kickstarters in 2022 and 2024. This is AWESOME AND I HEART YOU! And of course we thought of you when designing this campaign.

We have tiers which include no books but some of the fun extras we've created. If you get one of those tiers, you can add other items on to basically customise your own box of Nevermore goodies. Here are two of the items I think you will definitely want!

The Nevermore Bookshop EX LIBRIS stamp (+ ink pad)

This is an old-fashioned wooden stamp you can use to write your name in your books and customise your own personal library. It also makes awesome homemade bookplates for meeting authors at signings, and can be stamped on anything papery when you need a dose of Quoth in your life. Designed by Holly Dunn in a linocut style. Just loooook at the spooky-cuteness!

Quoth the Raven Open Edition Art Prints

These are hand-printed by artist Holly Dunn. Each print is A5 size and includes one of five Quoth the Raven images (from the chapter headings) in water-based block ink on Handmade Khadi 100% cotton, 150gsm paper, with gold details applied by hand surrounding them.

These are open edition (meaning that they're unnumbered and we'll print as many as we need).

I'm very big on supporting real artists, and being able to do cool things like this with my arty friends is absolutely why I love crowdfunding!
