Project Update: We did it!
Hi my lovely backers - thank you, thank you so much! The Nevermore Bookshop Linocut Special Editions are a go! We closed out with $65,550NZD in total funding - not quite enough to hit our next stretch goal, but enough to create some gorgeous special editions.
So what happens next? Over the next two weeks Backerkit will take payments. Most of you will have been charged immediately. For those who run into payment issues, you'll be able to update your credit card/payment details so that your payment can go through - Backerkit will remind you. Those on pay-over-time, your first instalment will come out now, too.
In roughly two weeks I will get all the funds, and then we can start ordering things!
Samantha (my formatter) is working on interior formatting now for all five books. Once that's done, we kick the files over to Holly, who will finish off the back covers and spines, and then we'll be able to send the files off to the printer (I'm hoping in November we'll be able to put in our order - it might be earlier but I'm away all of October so I'm trying to offer a sensible timeline). Printing and shipping the books takes the longest, so once those are ordered, we'll get onto ordering everything else, like art prints, stickers, and stamps – we do it this way so that we don't have lots of stuff lying around in my two storage places for months.
I am on a tough writing deadline right now, but soon we'll start organising the survey so you can choose things like the art prints you want.

In the meantime, while you wait, I have a new release, You're So Vein, coming out September 29th. It's a fun rivals-to-lovers, vampire vs human mayoral campaign romance (yes, that's a thing!) Here are all the places where you can pre-order in ebook, print, and audio.
And for those of you who have asked, Holly is about to start work on the rest of the book covers in the series, which means that next year, you'll be able to complete your set!
