Project Update: Important Update to Merchandise Packs

Hey there Pipers, this is Carly, the reward production manager for this campaign. I'm here with a quick update regarding our merchandise packs, following loads of great feedback from backers and fans.

CAMPAIGN PROGRESS

We are three hours into our campaign and are already off to a great start. Currently, we are 10% funded with nearly 100 pledges; you all rock!

MERCHANDISE PACK UPDATE

We have heard your feedback on the awesome rewards we have planned, and have decided to make a small edit to how our merchandise packs work. Where once the packs built on each other, we have now separated the packs into smaller sets. The Reader Pack has stayed the same as it is part of the pledges you guys have already been making, and it still available for pledge updated and post-campaign purchase.

Thanks to these changes, we have made minor updates to our Stretch Goals! You're welcome to pledge more now, especially if you already know you want one of the new packs, but we cannot guarantee these packs are available for purchase until we hit their individual stretch goals.

THE READER PACK - $25 - available for pledge update now!
- 8 character bookmarks
- 4 drink coasters

THE PRISM PACK - $115 - available for pledge update at $35,000 funding (main goal)
- 1 stainless steel Quintar coin
- 7 chromaturgy challenge coins
- 1 prism challenge coin

THE DRAFTER PACK - $35 - available for pledge update at $70,000 funding
- 1 metal bookmark
- 1 prism pendant + chain

THE ULTIMATE PACK - $150 - available for pledge update at $70,000 funding
This pack saves you $25 as opposed to buying all packs separately
- 8 character bookmarks
- 4 drink coasters
- 1 metal bookmark
- 1 prism pendant + chain
- 1 stainless steel Quintar coin
- 7 chromaturgy challenge coins
- 1 prism challenge coin

Why are merchandise packs locked behind the funding goal? Wouldn't it help to have them available from the beginning to help fund the campaign?

These are excellent questions. We wanted to keep our funding goal as low as possible to make sure we can make our initial 6-track album. To do this, we had to lock extra stuff behind the funding goal so that we were sure as much as possible of the initial funding went toward the main book score. Once we hit that funding goal, we can then focus on providing more cool stuff! If we had the packs from the beginning, out funding goal would need to include the cost for those items as well, which would raise the initial goal very high. We didn't want our first goal to be intimidating!

Here is the new graphic for the packs, to help you visualize what these packs contain. Thanks so much, Pipers!
