Hail Valiant (and patient) Wanderers!

Today I bear wonderful tidings! Our goods in the Australian Region have made it safely to port, the UK shipment is due this weekend and the American shipment is due on 8th July! What does this mean for you you ask?

These two hubs between them are handling UK, EU, Canada, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand! So basically if you don't live in the USA your goods are about to hit our distribution centers. In terms of time frame from here on out we're looking at about a week to clear customs, about a week to ensure all the goods are good and distribution is set up (correlating data and such), and then we've been asked to give the distributors about a week just to be cautious. The long and short of it is that if you live in any of those regions by absolute latest you will start receiving notifications about your goods three weeks from Monday (29th June). All going well you'll have your hands on them sooner but this is just being overly cautious with time frames!

For our loyal US backers expect a similar time frame once your goods hit port so you should start receiving shipping notifications by the end of July!

TLDR: Goods made it across the ocean, shipping notifications by 29th June!

As distribution gets ever nearer myself and Conor want to once again thank you for your incredible patience and support, we have learned innumerable lessons throughout this project, faced incredible challenges considering the state of the world, and most of all we have created a product we're incredibly proud of. Hopefully when you get your hands on it y'all understand why making this project took a little bit longer than expected and think it is worth the wait regardless!

I'll be back for another update once we get absolute confirmation that shipping has begun but until then I have a month to complete yet more paperwork for US customs so I'll be in my cave if anyone needs me!

I arrive today with fantastic news, physical goods are leaving port and making their way to you all. We are beyond grateful to everyone who has been waiting patiently to get their hands on the book, that wait is nearly over! I’ll go into more detail on everything that's been happening at the end of this update for those interested, but the most important thing is that the book, boxes and more are now out of our manufacturer's hands and packaged up somewhere sailing across the ocean.

We are working on getting a tracking link for the goods as they travel across the various oceans towards the distribution centres. As soon as we have one we will post it in the comments of this update as well as including it in our next update.

As a little thank you for your continued patience and support during all of this chaos, We will be sending you all the playtest document for an entirely new coven for the Witch; The Coven of the Spheres. This is the subclass that will be featuring in our latest setting Lodestar, but it’s been designed to work in any setting (including Faerie). So check your emails, the PDF with the coven should arrive in there shortly.

As we, and many others, have discussed before, there are some very powerful people putting the world through a period of incredible instability at the moment. That’s had a lot of impact globally, the vast majority of which has been far more grave and important than what we do here at the Vault. But nonetheless, like many others we have been at the whim of this instability in one form or another for the better part of a year now. From tariffs, to closed shipping lanes, to mass freight cost disruption and more. We’ve done our best to weather the chaos, but it’s been a tough row to hoe. When the tariffs landed we chose to wait out the storm, which did prove the right move but then landed our shipping window right at the dawn of another war and mass disruption. Regardless, its resolved now and the goods are on there way!

    There is good news to come of all this still. Firstly, we’ve changed distribution partners and established far more concrete connections and timelines. Which means going forward, World War III notwithstanding, we will be in a far better place to handle these sorts of problems. Secondly, now that goods have left port and are making their way to you all, we hope to have seen the last of any real issues.

I arrive today with an update threefold, in which we discuss the fast approaching delivery of physical goods, the awesome vault discord community, and our upcoming stream this Sunday!

Notifications went out last week that addresses were being locked, which means shipping is indeed nigh! We've finally managed to resolve the issues we discussed in our last update, and are currently in the process of coordinating with our manufacturer and distributors as the goods are loaded onto pallets and about to cross the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean on their way home. Once they cross their respective oceans, they will be picked and packed, before being handed to couriers to be sent on their way to you!

We want as smooth a process as possible for you all after waiting so patiently for your rewards, and the best way for you to ensure that is to keep abreast of shipping notifications and updates via email. We will be sure to put out an update when the goods reach port and ahead of tracking emails, just in case!

I also wanted to shout out the Vault Community Discord, and extend another invitation to all who want to join! During the creation of Faerie the discord became an invaluable hub of connection and inspiration for Aston and myself. Getting to hear your ideas and about the games you are running in Faerie has become a real joy for us both, and we always want more. 

Talking of connecting with the community, Aston and myself will be running another stream this Sunday Apr 5, 2026 @ 7:00pm BST / 2:00pm EDT / 11:00am PDT over on the Vault Youtube channel. We will be mostly discussing our latest project Lodestar: A Spacefarer’s Manual (including building some cool beasties and star-sailing ships), but everyone and anyone is welcome to stop by and get involved or ask us questions!

That’ll be all for this week, I hope the changing of the seasons continues to treat you all well. We had a lovely warm equinox here, and I spent the last weekend scaling the tallest mountain in England! I would highly recommend a hike up Scafell Pike for anyone who gets the chance, the scenery alone will be inspiring my D&D games and descriptions for years to come; though I’d add the caveat of going when the weather is a little less frosty!

I wanted to hop in today with a much needed update on the physical goods and shipping:

When I last spoke to y'all I conveyed the news that we were assured by our manufacturing partners the goods would be complete and ready to ship from them to our distribution partners world wide by the end of March, this included a period of downtime for them over Chinese New Year, but should have all been safely within timelines.

Unfortunately it has come to light that our partners haven't been up front with us about how far along things were. So, whilst the majority of the components are finished, and we have double checked, they hit a major issue with the first production cycle of the Elder Magic dice. If you've been following along with this whole debacle you know that the dice have been something we've been really keen on getting right and the first production run just was not up to the standard we’d been promised. The good news is that we’ve been assured with all confidence that the goods will leave their facilities 18 days from now at the latest, meaning the majority of you should be receiving shipping notifications within a month of today (depending where you are, RoW might be a little longer).

Obviously this isn’t ideal, and both Conor and myself are really disappointed in how our manufacturer has handled things. We have been as transparent and open as we can throughout this process with you guys, and we just hope this mess hasn’t undermined the trust we’ve built here as a community. On the bright side, they’ve given us guaranteed end dates now, and are seriously considering looking to other manufacturers for production in the future.

As always, we are so incredibly grateful for your patience, we know it is frustrating but you have all been kind and supportive throughout this entire process! Hail Wanderers!

Today I want to give you a bit of a full sit rep on what's going on with physical goods, including where we're at, what's taken so long and what's next! 

So we held off on a lot of production at the tail end of last year because we wanted to wait for better news on the tariff situation, unfortunately as a small company the tariff bill attached to literally 10's of thousands of pounds of physical goods could have ruined us. During this time we've been able to also source a new distribution partner that will provide more reliable distribution for our world wide customers so waiting was a pretty good choice! But also once we started to move forward with production myself and Conor got our hands on the goods and there were a number of minor errors that required a back and forth including sending samples to and from our manufacturer while we nailed down the best products we could for you guys.

So as of right now our goods are in production with our manufacturer, we have had assurances from them that they'll be finished by the time we hit chinese new year (this was important to us as otherwise it'd incur further delays when our manufacturer took time off for the holidays!). 

So once our goods finish up in the factories we'll be having them hauled across the world to our various distribution centres across the world. Once they begin that journey we'll input each of your orders onto our partner's system so they know what's going where etc! It is around this time that you should start receiving shipping notifications!

So that's where we're at on shipping, next just a couple of small points I wanna re-cover from last weeks update:
First of all, Blightmoor is still coming this week! If you already have it in your pledge it'll hit your inboxes the same as all the other digital goods, if you don't it'll go up on our E-store at the same time!
Next the Gauntlet final hits today! The final round of our ongoing creature creation competition is now live over in the discord and its been a tough fight with some fierce competition. As always make sure you go and make your votes heard in the Discord!
Finally, we're having a bit of a roundtable discussion stream this Sunday to go over various Lodestar and Faerie bits and pieces, we'd be thrilled for y'all to be there!

As always, we're thankful for your patience and understanding with Faerie. We know it's taken longer than any of us would have liked but unfortunately various world events over the past year have vastly changed global shipping and manufacturing.
