What does this mean? As we've said before, surveys are how we collect your shipping information! IT IS ESSENTIAL TO FILL THESE OUT in order to get your items! They will arrive to you via your BackerKit account associated email, but will also be findable HERE! (please make sure if using the survey search link that you click the correct campaign! Your survey will be from Angel Hare Plushies: THE RETURN, not the prior year's 'MORE Angel Hare Plushies'.
When do they have to be submitted? You will have two weeks to fill out your survey! There will be many reminder emails during this time, as this is an essential step! This will charge you for shipping and give us final item counts to begin production. After that point, you CANNOT get a refund as we will have already started making your item! If you fail to fill out the survey within this time, your refund will be processed automatically!
PAY OVER TIME Backers: You will receive your survey once your final payment is made! You will NOT be refunded automatically after the two week deadline everyone else has, so please do not panic! There will be ongoing campaign updates that will include reminders when relevant for your surveys around when they should be expected in the coming months.
Can you still change your address later? YES! Surveys lock after two weeks, but you will be able to edit your shipping address up until we have the items packaged and ready to go! You will get a warning before this happens! PLEASE remember to update and confirm that your shipping information is correct, because we cannot replace items if they were successfully sent to the address you gave us! Please see the Shipping and Risks section of our campaign page for more detailed information.
Can you change your mind and get a refund after the surveys are locked but before items have shipped? No! Please understand we have to draw a line somewhere, and give folks as much time as feasible before we have to commit to the numbers we're given and move ahead.

When Will I Get My Items? We've had the projected schedule displayed at the bottom of the campaign page, and have copied it here for your convenience! These dates are estimates based on our two previous campaigns' production times. To help with the wait, we'll be posting regular progress updates with digital illustrations you can make personal use of!
- Febuary: Funding ends and we collect shipping information. - Mar - June: Plushie production! - July: Quality check, and all items make their way to us! We hand pack and label everything, and the angels fly to everyone's homes.
When will my card get charged? It should be happening now! Keep a lookout for any processing errors that need addressing.
When will I get the free stuff? All the free digital goods will be distributed to every backer alongside the surveys that collect your shipping information!
I didn't have time to get an add-on I wanted, or I missed the campaign completely! Can I still buy it? Yes! There are two opportunities to do so. First, there's a post-campaign pre-order store going live tomorrow! You can go back and add new things to your order, and it'll be a new charge on your card. Secondly, when you get your survey to enter your shipping information and complete your pledge, you will be offered the chance to buy ANY of the add-ons from the campaign again. So if you were feeling a little remorse for missing out on something or missed the very narrow window where we unlocked the disc golf disc, you'll still be able to get it when completing that survey!
I may move before the pre-order shipping date. What can I do?
Worry not! Before packages are labelled and brought to the post office, you can update your address at any time. We'll send out a warning beforehand to remind you before we lock shipping information to where it will no longer be editable!
When is the survey coming to collect my shipping information?
Expect the survey in a week! This way, we can collect shipping once, when the pre-order store closes and sales are final. If you used a payment plan, the survey will be sent once your order is paid in full. We want to be thorough and careful to make sure everything runs smoothly, so thank you for your patience as we take the time to set it up right. It should arrive at the email associated with your BackerKit account, and should also be accessible on the BackerKit site through the project / your profile. If you're nervous you've missed it, try following the steps at this link!
My card declined! How do I fix it?
Be not afraid! There are several options for you depending on what your payment error was. There is a more elaborate breakdown and steps to fix it in THIS helpful article, but basically:
- If your card is expired or needs to be replaced, updating your payment method should automatically charge it again. - If your card declined because of unavailable funds, for fraud alert, or for another reason, BackerKit will attempt to charge it again in 7 days. If that one fails too, it will try again in another 7 days. If that one doesn't work, it should give it a last chance when you fill out the survey.
Should you struggle with anything and can't find the answers in the linked articles, it would be best to reach out to BackerKit customer support! We do not personally handle any of the charging mechanics and if you email us for help we'll only be able to refer you to the folks who know how it works since we do not.
