The Saga of Seven Suns is my science fiction masterpiece, my love letter to the genre—a massive multi-volume epic with galactic empires, alien races, space battles, exotic planets, and killer robots. It’s like The Expanse or A Game of Thrones with planets, drawing on all the skills I learned from writing in the Dune and Star Wars universes.

For the first time ever, all 13 books in the series together with beautiful new designs, new cover paintings, in multiple formats ranging from ebooks, trade paperbacks, jacketed hardcovers, to deluxe bespoke editions. A reward for all budgets.

The original series of seven novels fell out of print from the traditional publisher, and fans struggled to find copies. After years of wrangling, I succeeded in getting the rights back—now I can reissue the entire gigantic epic, along with the sequel trilogy, a prequel, a connector novel, and a brand new never-before-published novella Roamer’s Wrath. 13 volumes in all!

 

 

Across the vast Spiral Arm, ruled by uneasy alliances and ancient secrets, the balance of power is about to shatter.  When xeno-archaeologists Margaret and Louis Colicos unearth a lost technology from the vanished Klikiss race—tech that can convert cold gas-giant planets into shining new suns—they ignite more than just a new star. The first five Saga of Seven Suns novels were published with gorgeous cover paintings by Hugo Award-winning artist Stephen Youll. Unfortunately, the original publisher dramatically changed the design for the last two novels, using only astronomical stock art. Those books stuck out like a pair of sore thumbs.

 

 

I was never happy about this and neither were the readers … and neither was Stephen Youll. With this massive Seven Suns reissue project, I wanted to rectify that. As the first step, I commissioned Stephen to paint the long-awaited covers for the last two novels, Metal Swarm and The Ashes of Worlds.

 

 

For this campaign, we redesigned the entire series of books for a beautiful consistent look. In addition, the complete library has been reproofed, consistency-checked, and reformatted. 
 

 

Seven Suns fans have long demanded new stories in this amazing universe. To celebrate the reissue of my entire epic, I wrote an original new novella set between the third and fourth novels in the original series, “Roamer’s Wrath.” This story has never been published anywhere, and the new volume also includes two related tales about the intrepid Roamers, as well as bonus background material about the series.
