We wanted to share a candid update on where things stand with Valley of the Kings: Ultimate Edition.
This project has experienced several production challenges along the way. While the initial production run was completed months ago, once everything arrived at our warehouse, we discovered a number of quality issues that we simply weren't comfortable sending to our backers.
Card Trays The first issue we found was with the plastic card trays. Many of them were cracking, so we had the factory remake them.
Deluxe Wooden Boxes We also found that a significant number of the Deluxe Wooden Boxes didn't meet our quality standards. The printing and engraving on some boxes were inconsistent, so those had to be remanufactured as well.
Some products were also damaged during transit, including cracked boxes that needed to be replaced before fulfillment could begin. Deck Boxes
The biggest issue involved the tarot deck boxes. They were manufactured slightly too large, causing them to fit far too tightly inside the Deluxe Wooden Box. We opened and inspected every single box, and after seeing how quickly the deck boxes showed wear after only being removed and replaced a couple of times, we knew they weren't acceptable.
Rather than ship something we weren't proud of, we asked the factory to remake the entire production run of deck boxes.

None of these delays were the outcome we wanted, but our priority has always been delivering a product that lives up to your support. Whenever we had to choose between shipping sooner or fixing a quality issue, we chose to fix it.
The Good News
The replacements are complete, everything is now ready, and all backer rewards are expected to ship by Friday, August 14th.

Production is wrapping up, and we're expecting to receive the finished products soon.
The good news is that we're still on track to fulfill this summer!

We’ve got something exciting to share - factory production samples have arrived, and they’re in hand! We’re really happy with how these turned out. Right now, the team is focused on reviewing every detail and making sure everything meets the quality standards we’ve set for Valley of the Kings: Ultimate Edition.

January's coming to an end soon, we were a little too aggressive in our timelines. Since our last update, we had to figure out a small issue on the manufacturing-side for the sarcophagus boxes.
Everything has been resolved. However, we had to get a new final sample to approve. Here are some images of it + a quick video of a manufacturing-run sample. Our factory has told us that they will be shipping before the Chinese New Year, but that still means around another 1-2 months before we are receiving product into our warehouse.
We're really proud of the product and decided to put in the extra time to make it right. We've also learned a lot about manufacturing deluxe wooden boxes so this sort of delay shouldn't happen in the future.
The next steps have not changed, and we will not be locking in addresses, until product is received in our warehouse. At that time we'll confirm addresses and lock in final shipping. Thank you again for your patience.

I am really unsure what is going on with my pledge. I have tried to reach out again but not getting anything back just a ,shipping is ongoing. Frustrated is putting it lightly.
