Project Update: Fulfillment for Stragglers & Edge Cases
Hi everyone -
This is Ben, returning after six weeks of medical leave (it was a routine surgery, everything is fine!)
Going over the data from the campaign, and talking in-depth with the fulfillment team, I've identified a small number of backers who haven't received rewards yet and am working on resolving those issues as quickly as possible. Thankfully, the team completed the vast majority of the fulfillment process while I was out. A huge congratulations to them!
If you're one of the approximately 24 people who haven't received your rewards yet, please read on. I was not expecting some orders to be blocked and I apologize for the delay.
These appear to be the outstanding issues:

These appear to be the outstanding issues:
- Items Out of Stock - Corvyn has not heard back from eight backers regarding their preference for orders where the original count from the warehouse was incorrect and the rewards were not available. Solution: I will issue refunds for items that aren't available and push the rest to the warehouse for fulfillment.
- Surveys Submitted Late - Some surveys were completed after primary fulfillment. They have been stuck in BackerKit. Solution: I have pushed those orders to the warehouse and asked them to ship those orders.
- Unanswered Support Emails - I've seen a couple of comments regarding requests for support that have gone unanswered. At least one of those is from a backer whom Corvyn has been emailing regarding out-of-stock items. Solution: If you haven't heard back from us, please be sure to whitelist @zombieorpheus.com in your email client, as our emails don't appear to be getting through. If official channels absolutely don't seem to be connecting, please email [email protected], whitelist that address, and I'll help you out directly.
- Other Issues - While I believe this covers any delays, my next task is reviewing campaign comments and providing direct support. I'll handle any edge cases that I discover.
Timeline: I expect to have all outstanding issues resolved within the next ten business days, although some international items may take longer than that to arrive.
Note: I don't have access to the [email protected] email address. I've asked their support team to forward any outstanding Holiday Market emails to me for resolution.

Project Update: Shipping Begins
Hi everyone!
We've begun shipping today with a first wave of orders pushed to the ZOE warehouse. They'll assess and let us know if any settings need to be updated, then we'll push the remaining orders. This covers everything except for Grandmaster and Art of Grandmaster. If you ordered either of those two books, those orders will push to the LA warehouse as soon as Grandmaster fulfillment is complete—they anticipate wrapping that up this week, so those should be shipped soon as well.
The only potential wrinkle in the plan is that ZOE's warehouse manager also works in emergency management for Kent (a city near Seattle) where the Green River levee just failed, due to flooding caused by the atmospheric river. While he doesn't currently anticipate delays, we want to be transparent that if the flood worsens we may not get rewards out as quickly as planned. Thank you for your patience!

Project Update: IMPORTANT: Surveys, Shipping, and Scholarships
Hi everyone –
We're getting ready to ship your rewards, which means it's time for surveys!

SURVEYS
This campaign is slightly different than other BackerKit fulfillments: BackerKit has streamlined the survey process, so when you complete your survey they will lock your order and charge your shipping fees right away. This sets us up to ship next week.
To keep this process as streamlined as possible for fulfillment, we are only offering three extra add-ons in the surveys: Grandmaster, Art of Grandmaster, and a Scholarship Contribution fund.

SHIPPING
Here's what to expect:
December 11 (today) – We send a "smoke test" to a random 5% of backers. This helps us make sure that surveys are functioning properly.
December 12 (tomorrow) – We send all surveys to backers. The fastest way to get your rewards is to complete the survey as soon as you receive it. Two reminders: we did not charge shipping fees during the campaign, those will be calculated and charged now. Also, please remember that Grandmaster and Art of Grandmaster ship separately, and will incur a separate shipping charge.
December 15 (Monday) – Shipping begins. We've get products out the door as quickly as we possibly can, but it's still likely to take a few days to process everything.
January – We'll do a second shipping pass to fulfill late surveys.
INTERNATIONAL BACKERS
Packages will be shipped with duties due on arrival. If this is an economic issue for you, feel free to email us at [email protected] and we'll troubleshoot. We can currently do pre-paid duties for Canada and can add that extra cost to your shipping fee manually if you email us. For EU backers the cost to add duties is far higher than it should be, unfortunately, but this is an option.

We are entering scholarship recipients manually into BackerKit today. Your surveys will go out tomorrow. We didn't receive enough support to cover shipping for every scholarship recipient, so if you need assistance with shipping costs, please email [email protected] and we'll give you a shipping credit.

Project Update: Instructions for Scholarship Applicants & Contributors
If you applied for a scholarship for the market, or if you contributed to the fund for scholarships, this update is for you. We've implemented a few changes to make this process easier for everyone.
If you applied for a scholarship, we'll manually add you to the Pledge Manager when the campaign ends. You do not need to pledge now. Then you'll just have to fill out your survey to get your rewards. BackerKit will email that survey at the same time that they go out for everyone.
We haven't raised enough in scholarship fund contributions at the moment to cover shipping costs for all scholarship recipients, but will run the numbers after the campaign to try and include those.
If you're planning on contributing to the scholarship fund, please do so before the campaign ends in a few hours.
As always, thanks to everyone who's helped us build campaigns that are more equitable and accessible for fans in need!

Project Update: Holiday Market Sale – Final Days!
Hi everyone!
This is where we're supposed to talk about Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday... and how this campaign is wrapping up quickly. We should share the importance of supporting artists, writers, and creators directly, and the impact that direct sales make on our ability to create cool new things.
But for real, every other email in your inbox is probably saying the same thing this weekend. It's a deluge of people saying "Buy now!"
So just consider this a quick reminder that our Holiday Market ends on December 1st at 2pm Pacific Time. If you want to grab some cool stuff while it's discounted, we got you. If you'd rather go outside, enjoy nature, and escape the modern consumerist hellhole... we still got you. Art is about reflecting the human condition and it's easier to appreciate art when we give ourselves time to be human. Be with friends and family. Take a break.
