100 Little Word Dungeons is a collection of bite sized print and play puzzles built on the same core mechanic that powered Word Dungeon: place letters, spell words, and navigate your way through hand drawn maps.
It's a little wordy adventure, in a tiny dungeon!
Each dungeon takes just 5 to 15 minutes to play, and every single one brings a different twist, theme, or challenge. Some are gentle. Some will make you stare at the ceiling for a while. All of them are drawn by hand. Sign up and get 3 dungeons to try out.
Each turn, place a word horizontally or vertically on the map. Your first word must pass through the starting square (next to the in arrow). Each subsequent word must connect to an existing word by sharing or touching a letter horizontally or vertically, not diagonally. Words may read from top to bottom or from left to right. All letters placed on each turn must be in one row or column.
When you place letters, all words formed by your placement (including any crosswords created) must be valid dictionary words. No proper nouns or abbreviations are allowed. Each word can only be used once in your path. Plurals are valid but you cannot use both the singular and plural form of the same word.
When you place on the exit square (next to the out arrow), you leave the dungeon after that turn and end the game.
Every map in this collection is drawn by hand. Each corridor, each room, each locked door placed with intention. There's a difference you can feel when you play a puzzle that someone has actually sat down and crafted, and that's what you're getting here.
Hand drawn, 'cos that's important.
When you back this campaign, you're also supporting an independent creator making games on their own terms, without a publisher, without a studio, just a pen, a tablet, and a lot of love for tiny dungeons.
