The Project is for getting new covers for all the books in the queer, dystopian, sci fi series The Elite and the Rogues. Cover of Book 1 has been revealed on May 1st, and all other books will be getting new covers as well!
An Immortal Criminal with secrets. A galactic Tyrant. An Underground Resistance.
Alexander Selwood has hidden his past from everyone, but the Supreme Ruler of the Galaxy knows who he is, and Thaxter hates him.
The underground Resistance has been struggling to find a foothold in Cynfor, because Thaxter and his Elite are immortals and they have nowhere to hide.
When they discover a way to recruit Alexander, they have to take the chance, because if anyone can help him, it is him.
Everyone has their own agendas, but Alexander is determined not to let anyone use him again. But to save someone he cares for, he has no choice but to turn to the Resistance.
Even in an alliance of convenience, trust is a necessity, especially when you’re taking on someone like Thaxter, but neither the Resistance nor Alexander is good at trusting. Will their alliance crash and burn before it takes off the ground, or will they be able to bring a new future for Cynfor?
The Elite and the Rogues is a character-driven queer, dystopian, Sci Fi series featuring immortals, galactic tyrants, an underground resistance, morally grey and complex characters, a technologically advanced world, an AI with snark, found family, and a diverse cast.
The project is to have new ebook and paperback covers for all the books in the series, and a star chart!
Stretch goals will be for a fresh round of line edits for all the books, character art, hard cover as well as audio covers, and (fingers crossed) audiobooks for all five books as well as pay off the artist for the audio for Book 1!
The initial goal is set at $650 for the ebook and paperback covers as well as the star chart!
A former criminal, computer genius, businessman, and first immortal, Alexander is the main character whose actions, secrets, and loyalties drive the story.
The creator of immortality, Lucas is a genius scientist who also founded the Resistance when he realised his creation has led to the enslavement of the galaxy by a power hungry tyrant.
Current leader of the Resistance, Zain has lost his family to the Elite but is still determined not to let hatred drive him.
Lucas’ son and Alexander’s ward, his presence in Alexander’s life is one of the factors leading to his alliance with the Resistance.
A journalist who is part of the Resistance, George’s investigations and his relationship with Alexander are both key to several events.
The Elite and the Rogues take place in the fictional galaxy of Cynfor, in a far future.
Most of the galaxy remains uninhabited, and is under the nominal rule of Cesar Thaxter who has styled himself the ruler of the galaxy
Helios is the solar system where the story takes place. Helios has five planets orbiting a solar star, with four of them inhabited and one remaining uninhabited due to the instability of the planet's core
Prith is the planet that's most similar to earth, and where most of the books take place. It is second closest to the sun of Helios.
Hafi is the third planet of the solar system and is mostly water, with huge oceans and very little land. Despite this, the planet is inhabited.
Aeras is the fourth planet of the system which has heavy gales blowing all the time. It is where Lucas and Niek used to live in hiding from The Elite before the events of The Elite and the Rogues.
Ignis is the planet closest to the sun, which makes it extremely hot and difficult to inhabit. A technology called Habitat is what enables the planet to be inhabited with the help of an alloy called Hamblinium which can withstand the high temperatures.
The fifth planet of the system with an unstable core, which makes it virtually uninhabitable.

If reached, this goal will cover costs of Hard Cover of all five books and the Omnibus and Audio covers for all seven books
This goal will get everyone character arts for the ten major characters, all done by the amazing Janjan Arts! The arts will be included in the books, but not all characters will be there in every book since some make their appearance in later books. The Omnibus will have all the characters!
This is a BIG goal! Audiobooks for Book 2! Book 1 already have an audio, and I hope I can pay off that artist if we meet ALL the stretch goals!

Janjan Arts is a Philippine artist and illustrator. He has worked with several authors and has created character art for my Jaya! series, The Echelon series, as well as for the standalone novel, Memories of Forgotten Waves.
Editing, art, and covers all take time, but already covers of books 1 to 4 are ready. Editing the whole series might take around three months, and proofreading may take another three.
Expect to get your ebooks by December and physical books between December and March, depending on where in the world you are.
The biggest risk at the moment is the state of the world and how things are going. Even so, since I’m choosing to dropship using Ingramspark, who has printing facilities around the world, the risks of shipping will be minimised, and everyone will get their books in time.
I've already successfully crowdfunded and fulfilled a project already, so by now, I know what to expect and what all issues are likely to crop up and how to deal with them, so y'all will be getting all your books well in time with no snags!
