I've tried many variations of naff marketing-speak for this page, and they all made me feel a little nauseous, so I'm just going to say what I want to say:

Since ending our time with the BBC, we've been trying to figure out how to make another season of the Lovecraft Investigations. We tested the crowdfunding water with Crowley, hitting our target within an hour and, thanks to this community, going on to raise over £150,000 without spending a dime on marketing. So now I'm confident that we can put together the season of the show that I have been dying to make since The Shadow Over Innsmouth went out.

The Call of Cthulhu is going to be the start of Volume 2 of the story. In Volume 1, Kennedy Fisher and Matthew Heawood started out investigating the disappearance of Charles Dexter Ward, and they found themselves on a trail that led through weird cults, global conspiracies, ancient evils and some really strange government departments. If you enjoyed the first four seasons, you're going to love where we're going next. If you're new to the show, The Call of Cthulhu is designed to serve as an on-ramp; you don't need to have heard the earlier stuff to be able to follow this.

The original seasons won a bunch of awards, garnered a lot of press attention, and attracted an incredible community of fans. I want to build on that by creating a new season that is even more mysterious, immersive, and creepy than what has gone before. The Call of Cthulhu starts with a presentation at the Royal Archaeological Society, concerning an eldritch artefact and a secret cult. From there, we're going to accompany Heawood and Kennedy on a trail that leads through North America, Europe and East Asia, and into uncharted waters in the South Pacific...

That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.

For the first time since 2023, Jana Carpenter, Barnaby Kay, Phoebe Fox and Nicola Walker are back together, along with sound designer David Thomas and composer Tim Elsenburg, for what is going to be our biggest season yet.

This is the story I have been dying to tell since the show first took off. If you're as excited to hear it as I am to make it, then please sign up to be notified when the crowdfund campaign kicks off.
