@Alex not worried about the trays. Shipping replacements would be crazy expensive for what they are.
@Mike The trays could stand to be a little sturdier. If the box hadn't broken open even that little bit, the insides were packed well enough I doubt mine would've been crunched. If you keep the couple cardboard inserts and pack well, there shouldn't be any chance for the trays to open unless you store the box on its side and allow the lid to slip open a little.
I do like the idea of using tuck boxes instead, though.
