Fellow Club Members, YOU’VE DONE IT! Dare-Luckers the world over can now spend many blissful gaming sessions tucked away in cabins or tents along the shores of Lake Wallamanitu! Yes, Camp-Capers has funded, and its all thanks to your generosity. 

What’s even more exciting is the number of “Ranger Scout Recruit” backers. The Dare-Luck Club is always looking to gather the odd, the outcast, and the downtrodden into its flocks!

As a thanks, all you early backers will get a printable prop “trail guide” advertising the camp, listing the daily schedule, and showing a property map with marked trails (this is a different, more traditional map than the poster map that comes with the book). This is the perfect thing to hand your players at the start of a Camp-Caper adventure.

Work continues getting this book into layout and gathering the final pieces of art. One of the things I love about The Dare-Luck Club RPG is that it can take on many “feels.” It can play light-hearted and campy. It can be gritty like the kids in a Stephen King novel. -Or it can be wildly fantastical, with bits of sci-fi, magic, or the unexplainable. “Triple-Dog-Dares” provide an opportunity to showcase these different tones, and allow me to work with different artists who can capture all that on their “canvas.”

Don’t forget to take a look at Stefan Surratt’s Visitors to Fairhaven -Zine Trilogy for WHPA. Weird Heroes of Public Access (for those that don’t already know) is an amazing game in its own right. In it, you take on strange public access performers who have a mysterious station manager that sends them off on missions to deal with conspiracies throughout the town of Fairhaven. Like the Dare-Luck Club, the rules are light and the feel is heavy with nostalgia. Adventures from both games can easily be adapted for the other. Backers of both projects will get a printable pamphlet detailing a series of weird, in-game pamphlets that each lead the PCs down the trail of mystery and suspense, creating a deeper game world and spurring all sorts of new adventures.
