PPWR/EPR Regulations Impacting EU Backers
Due to new regulations as of this month, we will no longer be able to send our plushies to our EU backers. We are so incredibly sorry about the back and forth on this. We thought we had reviewed the new regulations thoroughly and were prepared for the new PPWR requirements, but did not realize the true impact of how intense this newest regulation is and the underlying EPR rules now being enforced, which requires us to register in every individual country within the EU, which is incredibly costly and time consuming. Unfortunately the small amount of EU backers we do have does not offset how costly this registration process will be (thousands of dollars). Again, we can't apologize enough for this and feel awful to have to announce this.
What happens now for EU backers?
If you have an alternative shipping address within the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Australia, or New Zealand, we can update your address on your pledge and ship your plushies to any of those countries. Please reach out to us through email at [email protected] to have us update this for you.
We will be cancelling and refunding any EU backer pledge on August 26th, unless you have reached out to us before then through email ([email protected]) requesting an address change to one of those valid shipping countries above.
*Quick note about reservation pins* For those (in the EU only) who reserved the $5 pin before the campaign started, please reach out to us via email for a refund.
Now that the campaign has concluded, here is what to expect going forward.
Your card will be charged within the first 24 hours after the campaign ends. If you chose pay over time, only your first payment will be charged at this time.
We'll do our best to post a production update at least once a month but sometimes these can take time in between meaningful updates.
At a later date, we will send out pledge manager surveys. This is where you will make your choices for all pledge tiers, bundles, and add-ons. We aren't going to send these surveys until we have the samples ready for Berri and Dotty so you can make your plush choices based on the final products. We will definitely be posting updates when we have a better idea of when these will happen. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience while we get these plushies going!
If you chose pay over time, we can't send your surveys until your final payment has been completed.
You will be charged shipping at a later date, closer to fulfillment.
Production steps for us

We've already started working with the manufacturer for the Berri and Dotty samples. As stated above, the pledge manager survey emails will be sent out AFTER those are done so you can review the final product before making your choices.
We'll be working to get samples going for all the other products as well.
We need to do some work to set up the pledge manager surveys so they are ready to go when those plushies samples are done.

Now you don't have to worry and can choose the tiers and add-ons you want with the knowledge that everything has been unlocked.

Wow time has really flown by for the campaign, we are down to the FINAL WEEK!
We just hit 100k and then just a little more (13% to go) to unlock Dotty! It's important to note that crowdfunded campaigns always push more in the first 3 days and the last 3 days with the middle being a trickle of pledges here and there. We know you might be tired of hearing about it but you'd be surprised how often we here people tell us that they missed a thing we released even though we've been shouting from every rooftop for weeks.
