Berri has some 'Berry Serious' updates for you regarding our pledge levels and how to back this project to get everything you want!
We have been hard at work revamping the entire look and feel of our project page and pledge levels. We hope these changes help provide a cleaner, better navigation experience as well as clarify some common questions we've received from the community.
I only see Melonie as a pledge option. How do I pledge for Berri now that she's unlocked? Or Dotty once she's available?
You don't actually select a specific fruit type yet. You are only choosing the item types you'd like up front - for example, if you pledge for a 'One Character Bundle', you aren't immediately selecting a fruit type, just letting us know you'd like one plushie along with their 6 matching fruit items. Once the campaign ends, we will send out the pledge manager survey emails with questions for you to answer for which fruit type you'd like for your bundle pledge. You can then select a fruit type from any unlocked designs (Melonie, Berri, and if unlocked - Dotty).
We have updated all of the pledge tier images to hopefully make the rewards you can select from a bit clearer.
Can I mix and match my bundle fruit types?
This depends. Each character bundle will include only ONE fruit type selected (example: if you select a Berri Bundle in your pledge manager survey after the campaign, you will receive a Berri plushie, along with Berri's six matching accessory items. If you pledge for more than one bundle, you can select a different (or the same) fruit dragon type PER BUNDLE. You cannot mix accessories from different fruit dragon types within a bundle, you would need to purchase add-ons to get a variety of accessories.
Do you have an option for non-plushie pledges? I just want some of the accessories.
Yes we do! We offer an enamel pin pledge tier as well as a single sticker tier.
If you are looking for the accessories mentioned in the bundle (chip clip, keychain, pouch, snarky sticker), we don't have pledge tiers available for these items only, but you can add any of these items to your pledge from the add-on section. You must choose a pledge tier before you can access the add-on section items, so if you are only interested in the chip clips for example, it would be best to select the one of the individual pledge tiers and then add as many chip clips as you want onto your pledge from the add-ons section that pops up AFTER you have selected a pledge tier.
We also updated the add-on images to help quickly show the options you can choose from later, in the survey sent AFTER the campaign ends.
What happens if I back the three bundle tier and Dotty doesn't unlock? I've been waiting to back until she unlocks.
This is where we could really use your help! We have heard from many that they plan to back once Dotty is unlocked. She will only be available as an option if we reach that stretch goal so pledging now just helps unlock her sooner!
If you back the project now, you can edit your pledge at anytime to choose a different pledge tier entirely, as well as add or remove extra add-ons as needed while the campaign is still running. You won't be charged until the campaign ends on July 28th.

Build Your Own Fruit Dragon!
Contest Rules Build your own Fruit Dragon out of actual fruit! For added variety, real vegetables may be used as well. It can be made from any number of fruits and/or vegetables. They can be carved or cut up as you wish. You may use any non-fruit/vegetable structural or decorative elements as long as the majority of the sculpture is real fruits/vegetables.
How to Submit your Fruit Dragon
Join our wonderful Discord community (https://discord.gg/as8jFamfSs). We often have giveaways for rare items on our discord so even if you just lurk, it's a good place to be.
Once you've joined, find the #event-art channel for submission details.
If you don't want to join the Discord, you can email your submission but you'll miss out on seeing what other people have done and the fun general geekery that happens in our Discord community.
Email your submission to [email protected] and use the subject "FRUIT DRAGON CONTEST SUBMISSION" in your email.
Please Submit ONLY ONE Fruit Dragon sculpture. Multiple photo angles is fine.
Submission Deadline All submissions must be received by July 24th @ 1 pm MDT
Winners We will select a number of our top picks. First place will be our favorite from all submissions. Second place will be voted on by the community from our top picks. 3rd place will be randomly drawn from all participants.
Prizes Prizes will be a USD dollar amount shown below in the form of Fruit Dragon Plushies Campaign credit (applied after the campaign) or a Dragons and Beasties gift card.
