Project Update: An update on Crowley Delivery
This was original posted to Kickstarter, but I realise a lot of people came on board directly via Backerkit when the Crowley campaign closed. Backerkit don't seem to provide a way to talk to those people, so I'm hoping this catches some of you:
Hey everyone. It feels weird to be talking about Crowley, when I've been so deep into the new Lovecraft Investigations season these past few weeks. But rest assured, even as we have been doing that, I have been organising all the bits and pieces for Crowley shipping.
Hey everyone. It feels weird to be talking about Crowley, when I've been so deep into the new Lovecraft Investigations season these past few weeks. But rest assured, even as we have been doing that, I have been organising all the bits and pieces for Crowley shipping.
The situation we have now is that a few items are delayed coming from the manufacturers, notably CDs, which have been beset by some design/printing issues which are, I think, now fixed, and, bizarrely, the boxes for the Department of Works Field Kit - literally every other element of that kit is ready, but the damn boxes are delayed.
I'm going to talk to the shipping people this week and see about getting all the packages that don't include CDs and DoW boxes out as soon as possible. Those who have ordered CDs may have a longer wait - I'm being told it's a minimum of 5 more weeks on those.
Huge apologies for this - I'm learning as we go, and one of the lessons I'm taking away is which things are surprisingly quick to get hold of, and which things are surprisingly slow... My intention is to start this process a lot sooner on Call of Cthulhu, so that everything is designed and ready to go before we finish mixing the show.
I'll keep you up to date with news as and when I get it. The good news is that everything that has been made so far is really really great and I think everyone will be very pleasantly surprised when their items (eventually!) arrive.
Julian
