Project Update: Coming to the close...
Hi all
We're coming to the end of the campaign now, and I for one am looking forward to stepping away from a computer screen for a few days.
Everyone should give themselves a round of applause/pat on the back/extra chocolate for helping us to get to where we have got in the past 30ish days - every stretch goal hit, and the makings of our best season yet (buoyed by the enthusiasm here, I am already closing in on the end of the script for Episode 1, and it is going to FREAK YOU OUT when you hear it).
Everyone reading this has contributed to the success of this campaign, both through pledging and spreading the word. Now I want to mop up some stragglers...
It's inevitable that, within minutes of the campaign closing on Saturday, I will start to get emails saying "I missed it" or "I didn't know this was happening". And that's fine, because you can't reach everyone, and anyone is welcome on board at any stage. But if you happen to know of someone who either hasn't been made aware, or whose mind this whole thing might have slipped, now is the time to give them a nudge.
Great job everyone. Thank you for pledging, for cheerleading, and for valuing this thing that I never thought more than a handful of people would even get. There's plenty more where this came from and I'm really excited to get cracking.
Julian
