Project Update: Making an Artbook to Celebrate 10 Years of Titan Effect RPG

Three versions of the same character with grey hair and a scar on the left part of his face. One wearing a dark jumpsuit, another one where he wears a red and dark jacket with blue jeans and the third one where he's transformed into his human-wolf hybrid form.
Character designs that were initially made for "Titan Effect: the Animated Series" project (2022-2025).

When I started imagining the world of Titan Effect 19 years ago, I had no idea that I would one day make tabletop RPGs. Originally, my goal and dream were to make an animated series or a comic book, but it didn’t work out, and eventually, I ended up adapting Titan Effect into a TTRPG.

So, making an artbook is a way for me to come full circle as a creator and hopefully inspire other struggling artists and writers. And as we are approaching Titan Effect RPG’s tenth birthday, I thought that now is the best time to make this artbook, along with Titan Effect Zero.

Project Update: Powers

Art by Patrick McEvoy.

In Titan Effect Zero, you play no ordinary spy. Whether you are a psychic or a bio-augmented soldier, you have access to unique abilities that can help you change the outcome of a battle or other dramatic situations.

However, don’t get too cocky as you will have to face foes that are more powerful than you and, sometimes, with abilities beyond your reach.

Powers are separated into two different categories: Psychic Powers and Genetic Enhancements.

Project Update: Gear Management

A body armor with an assault rifle and a couple of ammo magazines, two grenades and a knife.

In most RPGs, you buy equipment during character creation and then find and buy better gear or weapons during your adventures, but in Titan Effect Zero, things are quite different. Your character receives a set amount of points (Equipment Points) before each mission to "buy" armor, gadgets, weapons, and attachments.
