We've released Modi Case V_001.c, which includes new doors, TCG deck holders, Beast Handles for additional extenders, Modi Loops support, expanded instructions, and a major round of file fixes and corrections across racks, extenders, trays, and mounting components.

Files going out to Pay-Over-Time pledgers
Today, if you selected pay over time and you still have more to pay, you will start getting your files anyway. We've been able to pull all the backers and add-ons and add them to the MMF user groups. So please look for your files. Sorry for the delay here, but we had to do some special data exports and imports, and it took a bit to figure out since we aren't using the BackerKit pledge manager.
Commercial License Update
We are still working on all the materials, license, and license software for commercial backers. Hopefully we will have that done this week, and we can launch all the commercial materials and licenses next week. Stay tuned for an update.
"Where is the best place to get support?"
Support here in the Backerkit comments is really hard. There are two main types of support, and if you want fast help, please use these two places:

File Update: Modi Case Version 01a
Jeff has been hard at work taking feedback and making improvements to the files. If you have already downloaded your files from MyMiniFactory, there is a new zip up there with all the fixes.
——Added—— New: Doors for Medium-to-Large Adapters L_front_door_1_MTL and M_front_door_1_LTM Lets you build a door for the Medium-to-Large Adapters. Print 2x Medium and 2x Large instead of the part labeled "1."
New STL: Doors for Simple Cases Hinge_BarnDoor, L_Hinge_BarnDoor, M_Hinge_BarnDoor Lets you add doors to your Simple Cases. Available in both Medium and Large.
Non-manifold edge fix (4 files): All MC_Rack_BTM-R_LVL_XX.stl files will be updated to fix the "2 non-manifold edges" error some users are seeing.
Non-manifold fix: Modi Bolt Rack V04.stl had a non-manifold error on some newer slicers.
Missing pull tabs: L_small_parts_tray_2_LVL_05.stl was missing its pull tabs.
Mislabeled file (Medium LVL 03): MC_Center_Rack_Key-wall_LVL_03.stl was actually the LVL 04 version.
Vertical extenders fixed (2x Large, LVL 02 & 03): A file export mix-up on our end caused issues — now resolved.
.3mf update: The .3mf file will be updated to reflect all changes above.
Paint tray adjustments: L_paint_trays_25mm_LVL_05.stl, L_paint_trays_33mm_LVL_05.stl, L_paint_trays_35mm_LVL_05.stl, L_paint_trays_30mm_LVL_05.stl, L_paint_trays_28mm_LVL_05.stl — adjusted so they sit flat on the print bed.
Bug fix: Mount_bar_hanger_Large_plus.stl, Mount_bar_Foot_LargePlus.stl, Mount_bar_Foot_MediumPlus_2of2.stl, Mount_bar_Hanger_MediumPlus_2of2.stl — These mount bars weren't updated when the center reinforcement was added to the Modi Cases. Apologies for the oversight!
Modi Case + Amsel Suite Collab Laptop Stand Sent Out
Hi all,
If you are one of the 194 people who backed Modi Case + Amsel Suite's BackerKit, the exclusive Modi Laptop Stand redemption emails have gone out and should be available in your MMF library.
There are sizes for 14-inch and 16+ inch laptops.

Now that the files are successfully going out to everyone, it's fun to see people already firing up their printers!
Our next step is to activate all new commercial license holders for Modi Boxi and Modi Case so you can begin reselling! We are planning to launch everything for commercial resellers next week.
Media Kit
We are pulling together all the assets for a commercial reseller media kit. You will receive a URL when it is ready.
Reseller IDs
As part of the commercial license, you'll need to display a reseller ID in your shop. Instructions and resources for this will be delivered via a reseller website that you'll use to retrieve your ID. This will launch next week with instructions.
Modi Boxi Licenses
If you already hold a Modi Boxi commercial license or have purchased one to resell Modi Boxi along with Modi Case, we will also update those reseller IDs to work together with Modi Case. You'll use the new website to get your ID that covers Modi Case, Boxi, or both.
TO BE CLEAR: If you are an existing Modi Boxi Reseller, you will need to sign up on the new reseller site to get your new reseller ID.
I don't have a final date for when it will go live. Hopefully by Wed or Thurs next week. Watch this space for more reseller details. You can also join the Discord and go to the #commercial-use channel for questions and updates.
Hi everyone, we have just sent out all the redeem links for the Modi Case Add-ons. So if you purchased a Modi Boxi pack as part of your Modi Case campaign pledge, you should have a redeem link from MyMinIFactory (MMF) in your inbox. Please check your spam folder as well.
MMF Troubles?
A few folks have had issues redeeming their files, saying that when they click the link to redeem while logged in to their MMF account, they get a message that says, "These files are already redeemed by X."
This typically means that you have two MMF accounts without knowing it. If you have this issue and want your files moved to another account, please email us at [email protected], and we can help!

Pay Over Time & Failed Payments
At this point, the only folks who won't have files are the pay-over-time backers and anyone with a failed payment. We are looking at how to get pay-over-time folks their files sooner rather than later. I will have more on this tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates.

Using discord as a support site really makes it more difficult than a traditional forum.
Searching for existing problems is so much more difficult, which results in people asking questions that have already been solved. That, and a constant wall of moving text due to “chatting” is less conducive to fast problem solving.
Any chance for a regular forum so there is less duplication and less visual noise?
