PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Final stretch, preview, and typo-hunting!
I'm buzzing with excitment even writing this update, but I'm excited to announce we are in the true final stretch of this amazing (and massive) project.
All of Jert's final edits are in. The text has been completely annotated and hyperlinked (over 1300 within the body of the text) as well as a comprehensive index.
The final step is some finishing maps and design work by Josh Domanski (which are steadily being knocked out daily).
As we spend this last little bit of time before we send to print, we wanted to open up the project to a final set of eyes for backers who are interested. If you find you have an eye for detail, then this is the call to action for you.
We've created a google form where people can submit any typos they find during their read through. We've had multiple rounds of editing, but even with that the odd thing can always sneak through.
The ask is that any typo found gets it's own entry on the form (page number, location, typo). There is no hardline expectation for completion or engaging in this, but it is something that since we have the time we felt like we could open it up for. Remember, this isn't dev or content editing, just any typos, missed page annotations, bolding, etc.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE MOST UP TO DATE PDF RELEASED FOR TYPO HUNTING
We're excited that the next update we bring will be about sending the files to our printer, and sending out the final pdfs to you all!!!

Any chance the roll20 character sheet will be updated to match the new slick-looking character sheet somewhere down the pipeline? BTW the book is looking AMAZING!
PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Deluxe Edition PREVIEW
I don’t know about you but it doesn’t seem like Bethesda is going to shadow drop any Fallout remasters… but to make myself feel better why don’t we put something even cooler into the world: the LIMINAL HORROR DELUXE EDITION PREVIEW!!!!
Take note this isn’t the final, but it’s damn close to it! Here’s what to expect, from Josh:
"This preview draft is near final, but you'll likely find a few issues as we work on cleaning it up and getting it ready for print.
First and foremost, the final editing pass is currently underway. We're not quite in the "typo hunt" phase, but if you see anything catastrophic and would like to let us know, head on over to the Liminal Horror Discord server.
Beyond that, there's a bit of design tune up that's needed, the remainder of the maps need to be created, and an extensive internal referencing and hyperlinking is currently underway. It's smooth sailing from this point out, so a final copy should be in your hands soon."
I hope you like it. For the most part this is what is gonna hit the printers (plus the final polishing).
I’m going to be hard away at work annotating, hyperlinking, and indexing this bad boy while Josh finishes the maps and Jert does the final editing pass!
This truly is the final stretch!
A link to the download can be found in the Backer Only portion of this update below, but the files should be sent out through your Backerkit downloads shortly as well.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Silent Street Station + December Update
Happy December!
We're hard away at work getting the pdf ready to send out to backers. Josh is just through the Haunted Pacific Northwest and is jumping into a quick punch up of the Appendixes. That brings us pretty close to completion as the first two chapters are more straightforward in terms of layout and design.
- Chapter 1: Investigators Guide (50% laid out)
- Chapter 2: Facilitators Guide (0% laid out but is essays so the most straightforward of the bunch)
- Chapter 3: Catalog of the Strange (100% laid out)
- Chapter 4: Haunted Pacific Northwest - setting and adventures (95% laid out)
- Chapter 5: Appendices (95% laid out, but does still need the maps made for the generic maps)
SILENT STREET STATION
As a sneak peak prior to the pdf rolling out we wanted to send out the Silent Street adventure. This is one of the stretch goals and is a fun one for the table. It includes the Dwindling Party appendix (our funnel rules) so you can run it as is or with the funnel rule! The pdf has been put in the backerkit fulfillment google folder (see below under Exclusive Content).

Project Update: Einfühlung: A Liminal Horror Starter Scenario
We are excited to release the full version of Einfühlung to backers. This Liminal Horror starter scenario was made possible by you all, and we're excited for you to have it land in your inboxes. Through backerkit you will recieve the Einfühlung pdf, along with our new set of pregenerated investigators and a surprise additional starter scenario Stopover at the Shelterwood Inn. As with all of our releases, we will fulfill them through backerkit and then in the near future we will also provide them over itch & drivethrurpg!
WHAT IS EINFÜHLUNG?
The artist Katherine Campbell is gone. The rumors say she was nearing completion on her magnum opus, a painting no one else has set eyes on, when she disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Her house now sits as she left it, just waiting for someone to come unveil the mystery within.
Einfühlung is an introductory scenario for Liminal Horror, providing nearly everything you need to jump in to play for both brand new and well-seasoned players. Take the role of the cast and crew of This Mysterious Life, a paranormal investigation television show, as they dive into the depths of the Campbell House attempting to discover the fate of its missing owner. But locked away in Katherine's studio is a sinister secret, one that threatens the lives of all who enter this house.
Bound within you'll find:
- A condensed version of the core rules of Liminal Horror, providing the barebones needed to get playing.
- A ready-to-run scenario suitable for around 1-3 sessions of play that's sure to leave lasting consequences for your Investigators.
- Advice to help onboard new Facilitators.
- Six pre-generated Investigators so you can dive right into the action.
Bonus Scenario: Stopover at the Shelterwood Inn
Interrupting a lonely stretch of highway, nestled between towering pines, lies the Shelterwood Inn. To the weary traveler, its blazing neon sign promises a restful stay … but a deep darkness hangs beneath the glow. On this rainy night the fate of two parties intertwine, and both face that darkness: one to survive, the other to control.
Stopover at the Shelterwood Inn is a surprise companion scenario. A redux of the original scenario One Night at the Shelterwood Inn, this new edition has been revamped to be better focused on Liminal Horror and align with the framing of Einfühlung. Take the role of unfortunate souls stranded in a lonely hotel who have unknowingly walked into the middle of a clash between a clandestine organization and a sinister horror hiding beneath the surface.
