Project Update: Final stretch, preview, and typo-hunting!
I'm buzzing with excitment even writing this update, but I'm excited to announce we are in the true final stretch of this amazing (and massive) project.
All of Jert's final edits are in. The text has been completely annotated and hyperlinked (over 1300 within the body of the text) as well as a comprehensive index.
The final step is some finishing maps and design work by Josh Domanski (which are steadily being knocked out daily).
As we spend this last little bit of time before we send to print, we wanted to open up the project to a final set of eyes for backers who are interested. If you find you have an eye for detail, then this is the call to action for you.
We've created a google form where people can submit any typos they find during their read through. We've had multiple rounds of editing, but even with that the odd thing can always sneak through.
The ask is that any typo found gets it's own entry on the form (page number, location, typo). There is no hardline expectation for completion or engaging in this, but it is something that since we have the time we felt like we could open it up for. Remember, this isn't dev or content editing, just any typos, missed page annotations, bolding, etc.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE MOST UP TO DATE PDF RELEASED FOR TYPO HUNTING
We're excited that the next update we bring will be about sending the files to our printer, and sending out the final pdfs to you all!!!
