Project FAQ
Backers who followed this project pre-launch or who backed it within the first 48 hours received 2 solo combat tutorials for the bravo at no cost. The point of these incentives is to encourage action early, since crowdfunding campaigns tend to do better when they have a large number of pre-launch followers and early pledges. If you were in neither of these groups, you can still acquire those items by purchasing the "Bravo Solo Tutorial Combats" add-on, which will be unlocked after the first 48 hours of the campaign has elapsed in order to prevent confusion.
Right now, the only support I'm fully promising is a forgesteel file. While there is a stretchgoal for Codex implementation, note that it says attempted implementation. I don't play my personal campaign in the Codex, I don't code, and the Codex itself isn't finished yet. Bringing the Bravo to it will take a lot of effort, and while I will try if that goal is reached, I can't promise I will complete the attempt within any reasonable amount of time because I may simply lack the skills to do so until the program itself is closer to being completed.
Either during or shortly after the bravo's campaign, backers will receive an email with a google drive link. That'll contain the playtest PDF, forgesteel file, and a google form. You should be able to fill out that form at any time to give feedback. It'll be kept fairly short, with a few, optional commentary segments for you to write in anything not covered by the multiple choice questions.
The gist is that alpha materials include everything, while beta materials only include what's been extensively tested and is (mostly) settled on. To go into more detail, the alpha materials will include every level of the Bravo, all of it's leveled treasures, its retainer and rival, and everything added to the class via stretchgoals. Meanwhile, the beta materials will only include levels 1-10 of the Bravo at the start, and will be updated to include the other items promised in this campaign as they grow nearer to completion. The Bravo itself is done enough that, if you purchase it, I want you to be able to instantly play it. However, the other components aren't as completed. This staggering allows everyone who wants the class to pick it up ASAP, while also letting me stagger testing so that the majority of feedback will focus refining elements that I'm already confident in rather than getting stuck on incomplete or wildly unbalanced components.
BackerKit FAQ
BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.
If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.
Backers often receive special rewards for their support, such as:
- Exclusive products
- Bonus rewards for backing related projects
- Discount pricing
- Behind-the-scenes updates
- Creative input opportunities
Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.
- Select a pledge level with the reward(s) you would like to receive
- Select any add-ons
- Confirm your pledge!
- You are charged only if the campaign meets its funding goal.
- Charges happen when the campaign ends, not when you pledge.
The creator will send you a survey to:
- Ask you for more information about your rewards (selecting options, etc)
- Collect shipping information
- Offer additional items you may want to add to your pledge
- Collect shipping fees (if applicable)
The survey will be sent to the email address we have on file with your pledge. Additional payments are charged when you complete the survey.
Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.
You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.
Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
