So I just got a tracking notification email from Shipstation. Relative to when I'm posting this: -the email came to me six hours ago -tracking is included -history on USPS is just at the Pre-Shipment stage, where the shipping label was created but USPS is awaiting the item -it's being shipped via USPS Ground Advantage I have a US address but I still chose to send this to a US reshipper. And I'm a Hero tier backer (which gets both the WoW Diary 2nd printing and the Post-Mortem booklet, plus the slipcase and Infernos deskmat) and the email listed all four of these items as being in the shipment. Hopefully that's true. I'll post updates as things progress and I guess we'll just see how things end up.

The main page of the project states that EU shipments are supposed to be shipped from within the EU in order to avoid customs charges. My shipment though shipped from the US. How will customs be avoided in this way?

I've just received an email from Evri UK, saying they have my "Asendia Inbound (Huxloe)" shipment. I've not ordered anything from anywhere which would use this shipping company, so am making a (fairly large) assumption that it is my order finally arriving... I'll update either way once it arrives, but in the meantime had anyone else received their order via this shipping company? (I've also emailed the shipping company for an order update, as recommended on another thread.)

Pledged for hero and didnt have a tracking number so I emailed [email protected] as someone else recommended. 1.5 days later they responded with shipping link, so I recommend the rest of you europe backers to do the same. Crazy how long this thing has taken

I see a backer received a book through Backerkit email communications and that is great news and may work for you all as well. I received a reply to my email from Backerkit. They apologized and are issuing a refund for the book and addons. While I was excited about being a Glory backer and receiving these products, numbered book and note from John, that started disappearing with the delays and lack of communication, but honestly, the lack of responses to warranted questions did it for me. John you become the go to when there isn't anyone else since there are/were only 2 contacts associated with this backing. I try to be a really patient person but it becomes difficult when you have money on the line and are faced with indefinite silence. While I have been frustrated, what makes it easier for me to request a refund is because I already have the "The WOW Diary" from the first backing. I was one of the first ones to sign up on the first backing, before John had to regroup due to some bad info, and try again months later where he hit it out of the park. I watched John Staats and Mark Kern commenting on/promoting the first book and it's a great watch if not a must watch. If interested you can find it on Esfand's YouTube, "ClassiCast #13 | Vanilla WoW Team Lead Mark Kern & John Staats - The WoW Classic Podcast". John did all of the leg work on the first run and I believe that is the difference here. The books do exist and I don't believe John to be a bad guy. The only thing in my opinion he is guilty of with this run is not finding the courage to face this issue and speak on it to the backers. Legitimately, he may not want to scare anyone and have everyone running for the exits. I don't know if John has an answer yet of course but I believe the responsibility is on Source Point Press and replacing their employee Nolan. I don't know how big the company is and why they haven't worked something out with John now that he does not appear to have a Source Point Rep. I believe the books are in another state which would also add to the logistic issues and then you have money, did SPP already get the money to do the job and John can't do anything right now until things are worked out. John is working on another project and that is probably another reason he relied on Nolan and SPP, to keep him freed up so he can work on his other project at the same time. Without any updates, that is where my creative mind has gone. I believe the book is worth a wait for sure. John just needs to let everyone know that he is a tight spot and he is working on it. He can't offer up a timeline if everything's in the weeds. While I can't speak for John, I hope all of this is close to being right. If you grow tired of the wait, you too can reach out to Backerkit and request a refund. John, I would say that a response would go a long way right now and I wish you the best. I love the book and for now, I could use a new fishing pole and I have, "A Taste for Grouper", iykyk.

To everyone who has not received any T&T or shipping confirmations: I emailed BackerKit's support and after around a weeks back and forth my book is finally on it's way. I'll encourage you to do the same so everyone gets what they've paid for. All the best!

www.whenitsready.com This is John's current project. While I think you should read what he is up to, scroll down to "Homestretch" dated November 1, 2023, pretty much what was stated by a backer. Not sure why that would not be posted here by John and clearly Nolan isn't honoring anything. So there is an issue with a Nolan replacement, I have to assume...again. John, letting us know something here on backerkit is better than what is happening now. Crap happens but it doesn't need to continue being explosive diarrhea.

I really enjoyed the first version of this book and was looking forward to the updated edition, but it seems pretty clear that I'm never getting this book. I'm glad I only ordered the book and not one of the more expensive tiers, as the delays and poor communication make it clear that this was either a mismanaged project or simply a scam.

Second edition print, advertised as "available now" https://sourcepointpress.com/products/the-wow-diary Obviously I'm not intending to attempt a purchase, but seems strange that it's being listed as currently avaialble when all we're getting is radio silence and a handful of orders sent out with various issues.

I emailed Backerkit support, **which can be located by clicking on the "FAQ" tab at the top between "Community" and "Discover", then click "send us an email" on the right**. I am requesting a refund because I am over this, but I doubt that can/will happen. As a Glory backer who also purchased addons, I am around $300 US on this experience. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason we can't get FREE and TRUTHFUL communication on status. When some backers have received shipping information which means product is supposedly on the move, but then doesn't move over a long period of time, I believe no work is being done at all. So for those that have not received anything, what are we supposed to think? How long is that line of wait? It is 2 months shy of a year past the original promised delivery date and you don't communicate or answer questions. Hiding makes it worse, and worse it is.

It's not just the EU and other locations, it's also the US. I have not received anything including shipping info. Didn't want anyone thinking some countries were receiving over others. Also, anyone can print the label and send the shipping info, its the work after thats needed of course. It's like someone worked on shipments for 30 minutes and quit. We're all in this boat/zeppelin together.
