Project Update: Let's get out of BLUE HELL
Note: If you're not interested in lore, just scroll down till you see the big TLDR to see what we're voting on.
First off, I want to thank everyone for their love and dedication to ponies. I'm glad you love them as much as me. I didn't understand why children would say "For my birthday, I want a pony!" until one came into my life. While a simple looking pony, this kind sweet soul has been motivating me to try and be kinder to others, but mainly myself every single day. If you haven't picked up your free pony yet, I will be trying to keep my offer open for the entire event, but understand this may not be possible, so please try to pick up your free pony as soon as you can.
Ahem. Anyway, sappy pony nonsense is over, lets get back to business. A few days ago I asked you folks who we're going to save from BLUE HELL and after a lot of fighting, punches thrown, and even some tears, you folks chose MISSING ID to save.
Now, this is when I would normally say "we gotta put our money where our mouth is." I'd break down the cost of recovering old data from 100s of internet archives and and sending some sap to some ancient internet blog dedicated to every color pallet a phobe (this thing's species) could have in its old game.
Well....you folks just kind of gave me all the money I needed without the breakdown.....I had a whole speech ready and everything but you folks are just that dedicated to this project.
So anyway, I got the data in hand right now, but there's an issue. What do you want me to do? Make it some free floating pet without a game to live in? The FOLDER MAZE is just as bad as BLUE HELL. So I got a list of pet games we can toss this guy in, and what pet game we release them in will affect their appearance. But before I do that, let me tell you about its species, the phobes.
Phobes are a rare type of false dragon. (Dragons are beings created by fear as everyone knows of course.) They are notable for being fairly tame and attentive towards their owners. While they are mischievous they rarely cause any major harm. The species is so beloved and highly valued because when exposed to phobias it will change its hide patterns and fight off elements of said phobia and protect their owners. They and burrisks (our iconic trauma dog) are mortal enemies.
So keep that lore in mind as I tell you about what pet games we can put these guys in. There's no right or wrong answer, but there might be some unintended side effects if the lore of these guys aren't just right for the world they'll be placed in. You might even want to see these side effects happen...
And uh, of course, the result will become a pin you can buy. Sorry, sometimes I get lost in the lore that I forget I'm supposed to be making money here.
TLDR for those who scrolled to the bottom.
Pick a game from the list below to put MISSING ID into to save them from BLUE HELL. If you've never heard of these games before and are unable to find them on the internet it's because they're super indie and underground don't worry. Don't try to go looking for them.
Option 1: FLIGHT OF DRAGONS
This popular pet game has been running for quite a few years now. It is stable with a healthy userbase. The game centers around caring for a flock of dragons in their den and sending them off to the greater world to gather supplies, sometimes even raiding the countryside as dragons do.
Option 2: NEW PETS!!!
One of the oldest surviving pet games on the market. God keeps trying to kill this game but this game just refuses to die. It's so old that it's considered nostalgia core now just for existing.
Option 3: COSMICREW
This space themed pet game is focused on social horror. The userbase compared to the others is absolutely tiny, but unlike some of the others, guts, gore, and all sorts of horror is allowed.
Option 4: DEVILING VILLAGE
Uh, wait up folks. This game is doomed for failure. Everyone knows the creator is shutting it down soon. You folks really wouldn't save a little guy from BLUE HELL to just throw them right back in, right? I mean, might be cool to imagine what cool messed up BLUE HELL demon it might become....Urk. Ignore me.

This campaign is semi interactive so don't be shy about commenting or replying to other backers as long as you don't try to kill each other for being wrong. I went ahead and hid the results for now that way you can all be surprised in a few days at who won. Maybe to make it exciting I'll unhide the results in a day or two, we'll see.
